UPDATE Saturday. Thirteen sections with clubman and easy routes have been marked out at a rapidly drying Brimpsfield. The forecast is for fine weather so oil the chain and check the tyre pressures and sign on with Laurence for a great ride round this lovely valley. Remember to change your clocks!Bob Miles had to retire sick half way through marking out so thankls to Pete Driver for his help puting up the arrows. Hopefully Bob will feel well enough to be there on Sunday.

Entries are open for the SVMC Minchinhampton Cup Trial, on Sunday March 30. As you will see from the regulations, there's classes for everyone apart from experts and class D/E. Experts can ride as long as they're not on a modern bike. With the weather taking a turn for the better and the picturesque Brimpsfield venue, it has all the makings of a great day.

A catering van has been booked so no need to bring sandwiches, drinks and snacks will be available at the start.
