SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

The E.S. Myers Trophy Trial
Date: 6th December 2015 PERMIT No.: ACU 45751

 

ANNOUNCEMENT: Bradford & District Motor Club Limited will promote a Centre Restricted Trial on 6/12/15, for solo motorcycles, run under the National Sporting Code, Standing Regulations of the ACU, the Yorkshire Centre Rules current at the time, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting. (This event is a round of the West Yorkshire Championship).

 

ELIGIBILITY: Restricted to all registered members of clubs affiliated to Yorkshire Centre ACU.
All participants must hold a current ACU Trials Registration Card or SACU Licence.
Other riders must produce a license and start permission confirming insurance from their FMN.

 

MACHINES: Motorcycles as per NSC Appendix D Category 1, Group A1 Solos and TSR 8.

 

CLASSES: Adult, plus Youth; "A", "B", & "C"

Adult gradings & eligibility: As Yorkshire Centre Rule #6. Youth classes will be as defined in TSR1. Class eligibility and the awarding of championship points will be as per Yorkshire Centre ACU Rule #7

Championship Course/Route: CLASSES: Expert, Intermediate, Novice & Youth; Class "A"
Clubman's "A" Course/Route: CLASSES: O/45 Expert, O/45 Intermediate, Novice & Youth; Class "B"
Clubman's "B" Course/Route: CLASSES: Novice & Youth; Class "C"
Non Competitive: Participants may ride other courses on a non competitive basis

ENTRIES / FEE: Entries must be made on the official form provided & together with the correct fee, sent so as to reach the
Secretary of the Meeting by 5th December 2015. Entries on the day will be accepted up to 1 hour before the start, but an additional fee of no more than £5 may be levied. Entry fees are; £20 for adults and £10 for youths.

Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Bradford & District Motor Club Ltd.

Observers will be required and each "Official Observer" will be paid £10, either during, or at the conclusion of the event.

 

(When entering this event, anyone able to provide an Observer is requested to so inform the Secretary of the Meeting).

 

RESULTS: Will be posted on the club website; www.bradfordtrials.com (Riders wanting hard copy results must provide a SAE).

 

AWARDS: PREMIER: Best Performance (On the Championship course). The E.S. Myers Trophy * (*Replica/Award value £20).
1st Expert: An award will be given only if an "Expert" does not win the Premier award. (No rider to win more than one award).
1st Intermediate: Geoff Broadbent Cup. (To be held for one year). Replica/Award Value £20
1st Novice: Chew Cup. (To be held for one year). Replica/Award Value £20
Best Performance on the Clubman "A" Course: An award. Best Performance on the Clubman "B" Course: An award.

 

YOUTH & OTHER CLASSES: Any awards given will be subject to the number of entries per class.

 

COURSE: On private land & entirely off-road, the course will consist of 3 laps of 14 sections.
It is estimated that one lap will be approximately 1.4 miles in length.
Sections shall be ridden in the correct order on each lap and competitors risk exclusion if they fail to comply with this instruction.

 

The onus on finding the sections is that of the competitor; the route will be clearly marked and must be closely followed.

 

The course closure method will be announced on day.

 

METHOD OF MARKING & TIES: As per TSR 22b; (no stop). Ties will be resolved as TSR 23.

 

PROTESTS: Protests as per National Sporting Code of the ACU, section 10.04

( NOTE: In line with the 2015 National Sporting Code, 7.12 (*1); riders will be required to produce their current Competition Licence or Trials Registration when signing on at the start ).
