The opening round of the new ACU Air-cooled Trials Championship will be held by Lancs County MCC on Good Friday, March 25 at the popular Brookhouse Brickworks venue which will be familiar to all Lancs County and previous Normandale series riders.

 

The Air-cooled championship classes (see below together with the attached regulations and entry form) will run in conjunction with a North West Centre Championship round over 2 laps of up to 20 sections with the usual catering facilities available.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Entries in the Air-cooled championship need to be made in advance and only advance entries will receive championship points.

entries for the north west round can be made on the day - this is effectively a normal Easter Lancs County trial.

 

Classes for the Air-cooled Championships are:

 

Class A: - Any air-cooled machine. (Example Yamaha TY250 Mono with disc brake)

 

Class B: - Any air-cooled machine plus one of two criteria points. (Example Yamaha TY250 Mono with drum brakes)

 

Class C: - Any air-cooled machine plus two of criteria parts (Example Yamaha TY 250 with drum brakes and twin-shocks; Bultaco Sherpa etc)

 

Class D: - Any air-cooled machine plus three of criteria points (Example James/BSA/Ariel/Francis Barnett etc with twin-shocks, drum brakes and British engine).

 

Start time for the NW centre riders will be 10am with a free start time with the Air-cooled championship riders at 10.30 at one minute intervals.

 

Regulations and entry forms will be attached once the permit has been issued.
