Jotagas UK importer Steve Saunders was pleased to have three of the 2015 Jotagas trials bikes on display at the Penrith World Trial at the weekend. Whilst Jotagas are still a young factory, this is the 4th generation of the bikes with the range now including 125/250/280 and 300cc model bikes. All of these are also available in the racing model edition, giving a total of eight models to choose from. The new shareholders that came on board in December last year are now making their mark on the brand and this investment has enabled the factory to stock more parts and produce more bikes in a quality manner.Enhancements to the 2015 bikes include:
- Inboard rear brake pedal
- Modified primary gear shaft
- Totally new selector shaft
- The gear box bearings have been uprated
- New Shock Absorber from Elka (Ohlins will be an option)
- Swingarm has a new chain tensioner position, allowing for more space between the tyre
- Side stand is also new with an inboard pivot bracket to take it out of harms way.
- Rear brake master cylinder has improved surface
- Tech forks now with nitride coating.
- CNC billet bash plate made form 7075 aluminium.
- New swing arm bushes
- Lower friction crank and water pump to aid engine cooling.
