The Board of Motorcycling Australia (MA) has appointed Jan Finlayson to the vacant position on its Moto Trials Commission, where she will join incumbents Chris Leighfield and Don Murray.
MA has nine sporting commissions, whose objectives are to:
Encourage growth, development, participation and safety in motorcycle sport;
Provide an environment for orderly and structured decision making in the specialised aspects of motorcycle sport;
Enhance the promotion of motorcycle sport;
Enhance the status of nationals championships;
Assist riders selected in representative teams to achieve international rankings; and
Assist individual competitors, clubs, promoters, state controlling bodies and other interested parties in their specialty of the sport.
