Wet weather all day made already wet land even wetter for the fourth round of the club's Sunday series at the small but challenging Ringstones Lane venue near Low Gill.
Despite a smaller entry than normal - presumably put off by the weather forecast - the riders had four challenging laps of 10 sections with best clubman rider Andrew Kenyon far and away the winner and proving to be a master of the slippery conditions. Mark Batty topped the green course on his Beamish Suzuki whilst Darren Mitchell was the sole hard course rider.
Thankfully, with only a small entry, the trial was over quickly which enabled the small band observers to get off before it became too wet for comfort. Thanks to the landowner and the observers.
