Red Rose National Filling Fast

red rose classicTHE entry list for round six of the National Twin Shock Series is filling up fast with many competitors already putting pen to paper for the event, which takes place on Sunday, August 10, hosted by Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club. They include Chris Riley (Fantic 300), Colin Slater (Bultaco Sherpa), Paul Norman (Montesa Cota), Leeroy Granby (BSA C15), Mike Halliday (Fantic 200), Michael Watson (Fantic 200) Philip Higgins (Ossa MAR), Mark Barrow (Honda TLR), Owen Hardisty (Beta TR34). The Colne-based club will use the popular Pendle Hall Farm venue, off Grove Lane, Padiham.

 

“We are hoping for a full entry, so anyone who wants to take part should get in quick,” said chairman Neil Rushton. “Pendle Hall Farm is an excellent venue, and should provide a tough, but enjoyable test for all the riders.”

 

The classes for the series are for Air Cooled Monos, Historic Spanish, and Twin Shocks (production machines with drum brakes including pre-65’s).

 

Sponsorship for the series comes from In Motion, the Twin Shock Shop and Dave (Stavchorley) Ingham.

 

All observers will receive the standard Club rate for their services, plus there is a sponsored draw with three prizes of £100, £50 & £25, sponsored by Hofman Precision Balancing Limited. Observers are asked to pre-register with Neil Rushton, tel: 01282 870050

The Club would like to stress that NO entries will be taken on the day.
