Pegasus MC & LCC Coltman Cup Trial

Hartson near Grantham was the venue for Pegasus MC & LCC's Coltman Cup Trial. Chris Alford took full advantage of the ideal conditions to take his Gas Gas around the 5 laps of 9 sections for just 5 marks to claim the main award. Runner was travelling companion Mike Evans, also Gas Gas, who in a good performance for a total of 9 marks dropped. Elsewhere on the hard route Joe Collins CTC Gas Gas was best Youth A competitor.

On the 50/50 route it was another Alford, this time Louise who topped the results. Only sections 3 and 5 really tested Louise and on these she dropped 18 marks from her total of 24. Next best was Guy Bradley on 33.

On the Middle Route, Tom Laycock took his Sherco around for a total of just 6 marks to be named best Novice. Maximum points in the Over 40 class championship went the way of Andrew Atkin whose total of 21 was 7 better than runner up Nigel Wilson.

On the white route the competition was tight and it was Michael Smalley who was best Adult Beginner, Michael's otherwise perfect scorecard was spoilt by a 5 on section 9. However this was only just enough to pip Kev Witting, Drayton Bantam, who was next best and just a single mark in arrears on 6.
