Horsforth and District Bob Owen Trial

horsforth and district77 riders contested the Horsforth Club’s Annual Bob Owen Charity Trial at a changeable but mild Parkwood Off Road venue.


On the hard course, Oliver Sharp was a clear winner of the RG Owen Silver Salver. On the Clubman A route, over 50’s rider Neil Gaunt just pipped Nigel Scott and Mark Forster to the Matt Shelly Cup, all on 17 points.


On the Clubman B route, another Over 50 rider Tony Calvert just picked up the Harry Wright Shield from Ben Hanson, both on just a single dab.


Legend Mick Grant piloted his Bantam round for just 3 dabs to pick up the Maurice English Trophy for pre-65’s.
