The Bemrose Trophy Trial coming soon

This year's Bemrose Trophy Trial starting near Buxton, on March 13th. The trial was established in 1921. This will make it one of the longest running trials in the country. At a recent meeting of the Organisers, some Route Cards from over 50 years ago were on view. Surely this must show it has something special to offer. It has a few venues and section areas still part of the current route.

The Bemrose is a single 40-mile circuit, visiting at least 11 different groups of sections, most of which are familiar to regular entrants of the Bemrose. It is set in the Derbyshire Peaks, which if you have never been, will take you through some of the best and wildest parts of the Peak District.

Observers are always welcome, if just for one section either late or early in the day. Then you could move on to watch the trial at one or more of the other venues. Observers can have free refreshments at the start or finish. If you able to help, phone Alan on 01332 559813 or Kevin on 0777 1612 789 as this is one of the last single lap long distance trial still around. There are still some places available. Look on the Club Website or phone Alan and we will send you an entry form.
