Lancs County MCC, are the organisers of the next ACU Normandale Masters Trials Championship round with their Angela Redford trial which will start from Barkingate Farm, Roeburndale, Wreay near Lancaster on SATURDAY, June 3.
The club have organised many Normandale rounds which have always been well supported as the club is able to provide a good variety of sensible sections for this Veterans Championship.
Just as a reminder, the classes are Over 40 on a harder route, Over 50 and Over 60 on an easier route and Air Cooled Monoshocks for riders of any age on the easier routre. There is also a non-championship class on the easier route. The three veterans classes can be ridden on any bike but are aimed at riders of modern machines.
Entry forms are available from this website under the calendar notice for June 3 and also from the ACU website. Entries to the club are flowing in but as there is a maximum of 125 riders for this trial, it would be wise to get in as soon as possible.
Getting the required number of observers for a Saturday trial is always a problem so if you can help, please phone the trial secretary Mike Rapley on 07788 161929. The club are generous to observers with every one receiving an attractive box of consumables!!
Also note that the Cumberland County Club have the Alan Trial the following day which is also a round of the same championship.
