Competitors were treated to ideal conditions at Castle Bytham for the Arden Trophy Trial. Tom Ablewhite and Mike Evans battled it out over the 5 laps of 8 sections for the main award with Tom taking the win by just 6 marks.
Elsewhere Luke Hough-Whelpton was best on the 50/50 route aboard his Fantic ahead of Mark Hawkins. Andy Butt was again top of the Over 40 riders on a competitive middle route where 9 marks covered the top 4 with special mention to Geoff Gadsby on his BSA Bantam.
On the white route it was Michael Smalley riding in the fun class that topped the results with just 5 marks dropped. Jim Lawrence on 9 was best Adult beginner and Ryan Brown Jnr best Youth.
