Northen Classic Experts Trial

With entries arriving daily, we have now reached over 60 entries for the first Northern Classic Experts Trial being held at Newcastleton on 13th August. If you intend entering, please do so asap as numbers are limited.

Expert and Clubman routes are available in the following classes, Aircooled Mono, Historic Spanish, Twinshock and Pre’72 Britshock route, with trophies for the best Expert and Clubman in each class.

The route will be one lap of 40 sections around 15 miles (all off road) in length. It is planned to have the lap as a figure of 8 in order that fuel may be taken on for the second half of the trial.

In addition to Sunday’s trial, there will be a charity trial on the Saturday afternoon and live music at the Grapes on the night. Camping is available in Newcastleton. Saturday’s trial may be entered on the day.

As always, observers are needed, and, given the length of the route, it would be ideal for those with suitable bikes.
