Staffordshire Moorlands MCC Scott Ellis Trophy Trial

The 2017 Scott Ellis Trophy Trial is all set for Sunday 1st October with a slight change to its previous format. In previous years, the Trial has been set without an 'Easy' route - deliberately - which has meant that riders of lesser ability have been denied the chance to ride. Well, not any more! This year the Trial will have 3 routes. Quite simply - Hard, Medium and Easy!

The Hard route will be pitched at its usual standard, The Medium route roughly similar to our usual 50/50 route and the'new' Easy route will be as close to just that as we can get. It's always tricky trying to predict the severity of a Trial in advance as conditions can change significantly before and during an event, but you've now read what our intentions are for the event.

Buttyfold Farm, Upperhulme, Nr Leek is the venue with signs guiding you in from the A53 Leek to Buxton road for an 11am start. All Adult solo riders and Youth A & B class riders are welcome. Entries accepted up to the start time

There'll be 3 laps of 15 sections (maybe 4 laps of 10/11 for the easy route).

The club looks forward to seeing as many entrants as possible on the day.
