KIA Twinshock Trials Championship Round 8

The eighth round of the 2017 KIA Natrional Twinshock Championship threw up some surprises as there were quite a few new class winners this weekend. Best overall Experts were the Twinshock mounted Darren Wasley (Fantic) and Richard Allen (Honda), who both completed 2 laps for a loss of only 5 marks, with Darren furthest clean to take the win.

The Pre-72 Clubman had a tie at the top with Nigel Greenwood and Ossy Byers both having superb rides to drop only 1 mark.

Nigel Scott on his Cub was a clear winner in the Pre-72 Experts, as was James Moorhouse on ‘El Donkey’ in the Historic Spanish Experts.

Red Rose members Paul Whittaker (Fantic) and Dave Ingram (Blingtaco!) both had excellent rides, losing 9 and 2 marks respectively to win their Clubman classes.

Other winners included Yamaha mounted Robert Faulkner who took the Expert Monoshocks on 14, and the Yellow Peril, Paul Norman whose SWM125 took him to victory in the Twinshock Clubmen, losing only 4 marks in the process.
