2012 FIM Trial World Championship Round 4

gasgas logoJST GGUK riders Michael Brown and Alexz Wigg were out in Spain at the WTC at the weekend.

Michael was 11th on Saturday and 10th on Sunday. On section two on the second lap Michael tweaked his back and was a big problem to finish on the Saturday. He rode on Sunday rattling with pain killers and rode through the pain to get a ‘result’. I’m proud of the fact that Michael grafted on Sunday and gained 6 championship points. He is now 9th in the championship, six points behind Danni Oliveras.

No doubt Michael wants to forget this weekend because he is struggling at WTC at the moment, but I know he’ll keep fighting. We have 5 days of WTC competition left and I’m confident that he will give 100%. Let’s hope his back will be sorted for Andorra this coming weekend.

Alexz Wigg was fighting all the way at the weekend with new confidence after his great result in Japan. He was 12th on Saturday and 10th on Sunday. Good to see Alexz working hard.

The KELCOAT/JSTGGUK supported Bullock brothers were also out on Spain in the Youth Class. Bradley was 14th and 11th. Dec was 15th and 13th

Well done also to Craig Robinson and Jack Price for their wins at the YMSA.
