The FIM decision to go to No-Stop for the World Championship and Trial des Nations has been confirmed. All indications are that this is not just an experiment, but a long term initiative.
Consequently the ACU Trials & Enduro Committee have re examined the options and confirm the following for 2013:
All ACU British Trials Championships will now use the TSR 22B Method of Marking ( No-Stop). This will include Youth and Women’s Championships.
TSR 22A ( Stop Allowed) will remain an option within the Standing Regulations so that Clubs and Centres can decide on what method suits them best for their own events.
The British Solo Trials Championship will consist of a number of rounds ( probably 5 or 6 ) and will be basically the same format as 2012, although there will be no practice session. It is also envisaged that some of these events will be Two events held over a weekend. There may still be the option for some further applications for this series subject to date and venue consideration.
Additionally there will be a small number of Stop Allowed, Super Arena type trials which will also carry a British title. These will be limited entry events and it is hoped to also include a Women’sClass. The N. Berks Club are at present considering their Bonanza event for this series and a small number of other events ( probably two ) are expected to be announced shortly.
Details of rounds and confirmation of dates are expected within a few days, and further details will be announced in due course.
