The Paul Glendenning M emorial trophy trial  09-12-12

As well as our December trial at Rough Heys Quarry being Round 2 of the Kelcoat series, it is also the Paul Glendenning Memorial trial. Paul will be well known to many of us both as a rider and caterer at many Macctrials until his untimely death in 2010.  For the secon d year running a shield, kindly donated in memory of Paul by fellow rider a nd friend Steve Elliott, will be presented to the best adult rider on the 5 0/50 Middle /Easy route (the route which Paul rode).

The memorial trial will also be sponsored by TTS Vans who have agreed to award the 'Best Adult & B est Youth' white route riders, something Paul had always wanted to encourag e.

 

The trial will start a t 10:30am and will be held at Rough heys Quarry . We will have the normal 3 routes plus 50/50s.The burger van will be on site and there will be free f ood and the offer of £10 for every observer (if the observer wishes the mon ey will be donated to charity} The venue is sign posted on the A523 Leek Ma cclesfield road.
