Hull Auto Club, Open Trial – The Embro Cup Trial.
Again this year Scarborough & District Motor Club has kindly o ffered to let Hull Auto Club run their last trial of 2018 at their fantasti c Low North Camp venue. We are looking forward to running a trial at “The C amp” and Clerk of the Course Mark Williamson plans to his own stamp on the sections with 3 laps of 12 sections.
The SDMC Ladies have kindly agre ed to run their full refreshment facilities so that hot butties, tea and th e like will be available. All observers will get a voucher for a burger or similar and a hot drink.
It’s an OPEN solo trial for all Adult & Yout
h ACU licence holders (remember to bring your licence otherwise it is an ex
tra £3 for a "One Event Licence"!) with separate conducted course run for Y
outh D & E adjacent to the parking field.
Hull Auto always run
s 4 routes, Expert, Intermediate, Clubman A and Clubman B.
For this e
vent only, we plan to run a white route on as many sections as possible for
adult/youth beginners or older riders who want to ride very easy sections.
Maybe you have a friend who has practiced at the camp or elsewhere, got the trials bike and all the right gear but no trials licence to allow e ntry into an event. We now have ACU “One Event” licences which issued by th e Secretary on the day for £3 (plus the £15 entry fee for adults, £10 for y ouths) allows a taste of a competition for one event. For a first event, de pending on experience, the Clubman B route would be for more skilled newcom ers or the White Route for a very easy ride round.
Although all Hull Auto Trials are OPEN, club members accumulate points towards the Club Champ ionships. This being the last trial of 2018, some of the class awards are s till to be decided, so Club members be aware that it is you last chance to get the those valuable points!
