bump for confirmation! I just ordered a B size piston for my A size cylinder. This was recomended by Lewisport. Now (little late) I check the specs in the manual and its showing A is the largest piston, C the smallest!?!?!? Typo in the manual or is it backwards from every other bike I know of????? Stuff should be here tomorrow...trials this weekend. So its going in no matter what...but I am going to be upset if I actually got a smaller piston and my bike still rattles...$200 bucks for a piston!!!!! EDIT: new B piston is in...no more rattle at idle! Still curious if the manual is messed up and A is the smallest????

You can yourself! If they are not to bad, we use an oil stone (used to sharpen knives it has a flat face) to lightly knock off the highspots. Put some masking tape on the fork around where your working so you dont nick up a good spot! You dont want to or have to take it down to the bottom of the gouge! Just take the highspot/small burrs off. You can polish out with 400/600/1000grit paper. Easy peasy! A tiny amount may leak as the seal passes over the low spot you left...but it should amount to next to nadda!

Who needs a Trials bike!?!? Not this guy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=71l8ILnAIdU -
Fuel tap is easy...drill a small hole thru it too. THen stick a small bolt thru and lock it on with a nut...makes it sooooo much easier to turn!

Hmmm bummer! I had the exact opposite with my clutch arm. It was dry and rusty in the cavity, shaft had really bad pitting, pivot bearings totally siezed solid. Was able to source a work-able bearing from mcmastercarr.com. New used shaft in great shape from ebay. Keep at it and keep us posted Im still watching!

Trials style balance practice on a dirt bike

Use your feet to balance and steer the bike around. Practice stopping the front tire in a square marked on the ground then take off again with out touching...stop longer the better you get. The clutch is your friend, you wont hurt it! Stand up! Full steering lock figure 8's are great practice. Go ride! -
Couple tricks for a 315 fuel setup. 1. drill a small hole in the choke lever and run a zip tie thru it so you can tug it to turn the choke off instead of fumbling around looking for the small lever. Even with an inline filter (I use one). 2. drill a small hole in the fuel petcock lever and insert a small bolt about an inch long and 1/8 inch diameter thru the hole and then put a nut on it to secure it to the lever....this makes it super easy to turn the gas on n off.

If your sucking dirt past the air filter, this can wreak havoc on your valves. Tight valve clearance makes 4 strokes a bear to start. Hope this is not the case!
