  1. Hi Total how would you like to become my business manager.
  2. I do a lot of work in the pre 65 field rebores resleeve valve guides valve seat etc.as well as engine mods frame mods etc I do all Alan W. re bore and resleeving pluss wor for some of the major suppliers. You can contact me on 01706825316 07973799641 Bill

  3. You want to source a cub rear, I believe some Bantam hubs are narrower than cubs I've done this mod for quite a few people on cubs. Your D14b sports should render quite afew sellable parts. The forks are two small to trick up to 35 mm but will trick up to 32 mm. The best cheap engine mod is to go 185, the barrel bored out to accept a Suzuki ts 185 piston. Again I have done this mod for about 15 people.
  4. Hi Charlie You talk about having to use a D5 frame to be eligible for pre 65. Why? Most clubs have a different cut of dates for the two stroke class. The original question was all about wide bantam hubs. The original hubs can be widened easly and as Alan pointed out it
  5. Hi Mark You need to go back to school 40 does not go into 36. Cub wheels are 40 holes or do you mean replica cub wheels that do come in 36. Jack
  6. Hi If you have an iron barrel you may need more piston clearance. Its a common problem. Jack
  7. Hi Oxboy I can recommend Electrex kits they have a bigger spark at low revs and the advance curve is very smooth. I have fitted quite a few of these to costumers bikes some in place of PVLs. I would recommend fitting it in the same way as PVL on posts. The reason for this if you give the clutch cover a big knock it will alter the air gap. This way PVLs were mounted on posts. Electrex do a kit that mounts in this way but you have to ask for this fitting. Jack
  8. I was in the car park at the trial when someone had just come back from the said section saying that the lad riding the black DMW should been banned for his use of the English language. Then the rider just happened to arrive back. You can see just have quickly this incident had got back to the start. I believe that one of the pair passed a similar comment at a trial in the North East earlier this year. This trial was not run under the ACU. But AMCA
  9. Hi poor quality rings. Try Grampian motors for a piston or trial and trail. If you need someone to do the rebore. I am able to do small bores like the ty 80. Jack
  10. Have you posted the results any where and did Steve ride or do you need the have a copy of the video to find out. Come on Charlie.
  11. Hi did yoy ever get your barel re bored. I do re bores I am not far from you. 07973799641 and go to local trials. Jack
  12. Why ask Steve are there no results? How many people went to the show? Is it normal to select the jumbers? I did not go to the show but went to a 2 day trial where I herd some people where phoned up about going and that was the last they herd. I take it the 8 pound entry fee was to cover the show ground hire fee. Jack
  13. Why have a results heading with only 1 set of results. I am not the only person that looked under the results Heading. I was lucky to be given a hard copy at the Yorkshire Classic trial on Sunday.
  14. No point in going to the poachers site as the Midland Classic results are not their yet
  15. Some poor person on the forum for tiger cubs, states that he took an engine to Serco for building and now thinks its been sold ob Ebay www.cubsite.com/cubforum/ His mobile phone is now dead. Come back Martin al is forgiven. Jack
  16. Could be worse you could be in the hands of Ian Roberts. Jack
  17. Hi all Has anyone had any dealings with Ian Roberts this year?. Jack
  18. Hi Alan and Charlie All is not correct above . Before you give advice make shure what you say is correct. The posts are not all spaced at 120 degrees. I know that because I also machine the crankcases and fit the posts. Jack
  19. Hi Paul I also has a TR engine with the engine number tr123.? Jack
  20. Hi Have just remachined a friends Honda piston that he had from Mr roberts. When it was fitted into his cub, the engine would not turn over as the piston fouled the crank. Look as though Mr Roberts is not able to measure and calculate the amount of metal to remove, but is able to calculate a bill. Jack
  21. Hi Thanks for the reply I must still be thick. I have been riding my bike with shrunk in liners for 18 months and they are still tight in the drum. If aluminium expands like you say, why does the liner in an aluminium barrel and valve seats in a head not come loose. With most replica hubs I would say it does not mater which way round you mount them. Jack
  22. Hi What happened to last years sponser SERCO?
  23. Looks as though Mr Robert
  24. Have been watching this thread for the last week and I am quite surprised that nobody has had the same experience as myself. I have ordered things over the phone given my details, and then told it will be in the post tonight mate. Two weeks went by and nothing arrived. I phoned up and was told must be lost in post mate, will send it again. This went on for some time and still nothing arrived. On the positive side no money had been taken the bloke must be a real plonker. This never happened in Martin
