HI Dave Removed the water pump housing and sure enough there was a small curved mark around the perimeter where the impeller has touched. There is a little movement in the the impeller where it moves up to the circlip. I have fitted a small shim to keep the impeller towards the engine and removed the rough casting inside the pump housing as suggested. I am going out on it at the weekend and hopefully thats it sorted. Thanks Paul

I need some help please. I have a 2011 290 factory and the engine squeals!! It came to light on Sundays trial i did 24 sections no problem then i could rev the engine but when it comes down off the revs it squeals badly, I thought it was the barrel starting to nip up but it still revs cleanly. I think its coming from the water pump and only happens when it's hot with the fan cutting in and out. The water pump has an alloy spacer to increase the volume. Could it be the impeller spinning on the shaft ??? Any ideas??? Cheers

Hi I have a 2005 Toyota Hilux Invincible. I can get 3 bikes on the back with a bit of trick tying up. My scorpa, my oldest son's Sherco 125 with my youngest Beta 80 in the middle. A couple of old sofa cushions in between bikes and lean the outer bikes into the middle and tie up. Not ideal but it works!!!! Newer Toyota Hilux's are physically bigger but can't speak of load length. When i bought the toyota i tried the mitsubushi but the turning circle is rubbish, the toyota is holding its price well too. Hi I bought my youngest his first trials bike but it needs a bit of tlc. I need a new exhaust, Rear mudguard and a sticker set as well as a few general maintenace parts like bearings etc. My question is where's the best place to source these parts??? Thanks for your help. Paul
