i think you are on about these
http://d-mis-web.ana.bris.ac.uk/personal/H...f/media/gasgas/
they have all the gas gas technical parts videos not sure if they are what your looking for though
-
if we had a british rider who rode motorcross who won the world championship it would be a totally different story, trials isn`t as much bothered about or talked about so it doesn`t get as much say so they only put the apsolute bare minimum in i does think
-
give your dealer a ring they should have a 6 month warranty on the bike so you should be able to get it fixed for free if not ring sandifords and see what the have to say
-
try haven at barrow they sold me one give them a ring or try their website www.trialsbike.co.uk
-
i personally think that its nothing to do with the tyre or anything like that and is to do with weight over the back end and how much torque the bike puts out, the little rookie 80 has alot of torque for a little engine and i have seen it go up hills better than the bigger bikes alot of times which is torque of the engine and the bigger bikes seeem not to have as much torque but more "revvy". in any case if you rev the bike it will find grip from somewhere its to do with the physics of the spinning rear wheel and tyre etc but am not going to go into that!
-
on a few bikes ive seen a small peice of metal welded onto the footbrake to make it wider and easier to get your foot onto or reach, hope this helps
-
best one for bottom end i think is the flywheel weight but i dont see how the different middle box would make a difference unless it has some restrictors or something similar inside it or has a smaller baffle which would restrict the flow of the gasses been pumped out not too sure
-
i think the best time to move up is when your in the top three for that clubs route at atleast two events before you move up
p.s are you doing the next lincoln event??
-
nope not kidding they only sell the whole lot not the spring on its own a bit of a bummer if you ask me!!
-
hi i have an 06 gas gas 250 with the ohlins shock absorber on it, recently i have snapped the spring and was wondering if there is anywhere in the uk where i can buy one from, i have tried gasgasuk and they dont sell them just wondering if anyone on here had any ideas?
-
does that mean if someone asks where a product can be bought from that we cannot name a dealer in which this product may be available?
-
1 tooth on front = 2 teeth on rear not 4
-
if you look just below the piston it should have a little rod which pushes into the cylinder and is connected to the pedal at the rear, it should have a nut on it, undo the nut and then twist the little bar it should adjust the pedal as to how far it travels before it actually works etc just dont overdo it as i think the little bar can come out and is a pain to get back in but not too sure though, someone else might tell you that, it worked on my gasser
coxy
-
firstly take the back wheel out then remove all the suspension which will take away all the weight etc from the rear end and then undo the swingarm bolt and remove that it may need tapping through and then it should just come out and if you can`t get the bearings out go to your nearest dealer and the will take them out for you and put new ones in if you ask
-
take your throttle spring out of your carb and cut it down two to three turns but do it a little at a time until you are happy but dont go too far otherwise it`ll not spring back, maybe also give all the throttle a really good clean aswell and use only a tiny bit of grease on the bars just enough to give it a thin coat otherwise this will also affect the performance
-
on my 2001 gas gas 200 i used 70:1 where in 5 litres i had 70-80 ml of oil which seemeed to work fine use this on my gas gas 06 pro now (oil is putoline fully synthetic)
-
try haven trialsport at barrow there website is www.trialsbike.co.uk all information for getting into contact with them is on there
-
next time your out on your bike rev it at full throttle for 1-2 seconds or until you hear it at full revs this may help to clear the engine out just my thoughts
-
i think that the 280 is the most snappy bike out of the 250,280 and 300 but a flywhell weight would calm it down alot but i think that a 250 would be good but just go to a trial and ask to have a go on some bikes and see what you like best or go to your nearest dealer

-
the are rubbish on everything the compound of the tire is too hard
-
mine did the exact same problem and it was the gear selector spring quick and easy job had it done for next day by haven trials sport
-
dont get it they are apsolute cr*p, the tyre is a really hard compound, its worth waiting for a different tyre or buying a new michelin or irc for 60 quid you will feel happier in the long run
-
putting a flywheel weight will probably do you the most good but as for wheel spin i dont think you can really stop it just learn to find more grip or ride the bike so it doesn`t spin and also lean further over the back end so your weight is onto the rear tyre more, it`ll take you a while to learn to find grip but you`ll gradually get better the more you ride
-
you minding for adam matt?
