    Jitse Air Filter

try haven trials sport they should have some the website is www.trialsbike.co.uk all the info is on there to get in touch with them etc
  4. i think that any rider will do a bit of shuffling or gardeneing with the rocks if it gives them a better chance at cleaning the sections and who cares if the observer lets you then why not do it just dont go mental and start moving large amounts and anyone that says that they never move or alter the sections are lying because every single rider has done it at least once
  5. you can put a flatside carb onto it which makes it rev cleaner apparently and also a high compression head, you may also be able to get a ignition system which has a different power curve but not sure. you could ring up someone that has a beta 125 or ring a dealer and ask them
  6. grimbo has turned his interest into enduro or so av been told and also i think it was grimbo himself who said that he didnt want to ride the wtc anymore and not the factory but he still does the british adult nationals so hes still gerrin out on his bike which is good but its a big loss for sherco to have lost their number 2 rider
  7. hi glad to hear your riding again and to be honest i didnt think that the middle route at lincoln was that hard it was quite easy compared to how hard it normally is and the conditions were good to how boggy it has been times before when i have been but its all fun and i enjoyed it and i agree with you that the middle route at lincoln is like been on a hard route at some other venues but its good

    Fatbars

the black clamps you are talking about are the raga fatbar clamps which should have came on the bike if youve got a 250 upwards i think the bars are very good and have alot more room for movement around them and they are very strong, the fat bars dont have a cross brace across the middle of the bar and are fatter in the middle to give them strength this is where they get the word fatbar from i spose
  9. i got told to run my new gasser in at 100:1 for about 5-10 trials till it was fully run in but a think 5 trials or 5 outings for 2-4 hours will be ok and run it at 100:1 then go to your normal mixture that should be ok coxy
  10. if you are checking the oil straight after riding for several hours the oil is probably still going round the engine and it`ll then settle again and if so this is probably the reason why there is oil in the airbox if there is as you are overfilling the oil just ride it several times and see if the oil goews down and if not it should be ok just dont let it go below the min mark
  11. i think the raga has a more advanced timing curve compared to the normal 300 to give it more power and bottom end response
  12. have a look at your plates because it sounds to me like your clutch is slipping i had the same problem on my gas gas, try to rock it back and forth in gear before you start the bike so that the clutch plates release and it should be ok

    Ymsa

hi people at the ymsa trial today there was a bike with some carbon fibre swingarm protectors, exhaust protectors, clutch covers etc can anyone remember what they were called and have they got a website for em??
  15. some people use them for slowing the bike down or for them to be able to control it better under slow or tight sections and if they dont have good throttle control as they have more "play" in the throttle
  16. hi does any one know if there is a scunny trial on the 1st of may as it says there is one on acu website but doesnt in tmx and i havent heard anything, if so where is it at? cheers coxy

    Gas Gas

bike could have flooded? or all the petrol in the carb may have been drained out probably bike flooded though and it took that long for it to dry up on the plug so that you could get a spark again
  18. well i got told that if you use any other thing apart from mineral oil then it will corrode and damage any seals whixch it is in contact with for a long time
  19. you may be able to get some from your local bike shop as some of the bikes have hydraulic brakes which use mineral oil but dunoo if it is any good for a trials bike
  20. dont think it has worked anyway its on www.r2wtrials.com i think somewhere
  21. hi heres a pic of a bike that someone from gas gas uk owns but cant tell you who it is cos i cant remember
  22. just basically walk the section see where your going see if there is anything in your way and pick the easiest and safest route through and if your unsure ask theres loads of very freindly people in trials i have found and ask them if you need help good luck and most of all just enjoy yourself no matter what your result is or how good badly you do good luck coxy o and i forgot take your time in the section dont rush through because people are waiting for you take aslong as you want just dont take the p*ss
  23. for an easy and biginners trial the sections will probably just be up like very small hills or just turns and basically just for getting use to the bike really there wont be any rocks or any thing involved which would be that hard i would think that it`ll just be turns on flat land or small hills but cant really say alot about it because i dont know where your going
  24. maybe they have changed the design to make them stronger? or are using lighter materials so they can have more area?

    Stiff Clutch

try setting your clutch so that your finger is placed on it as far out as possible towards the end of the lever this should make it easier but if it is still stiff you could try using clutch lightener which i think you can buy but not too sure or a different type of clutch oil
