Just think if it was Bob and PW, they would never agree on which way to go.

Bob, just what you need is another project. Next we will have a sidecar class at the ITSA rounds.
-
This past summer I attended an event back east and there were No - Zero - None Novice riders signed up. How do we grow?
-
We really are a family sport when you get down to it. Not very often do you get new riders without someone very close to them bring them into the fold.
-
I have wanted to do 5MOH for a long time but have never been able to schedule it when your club does its ride. Would a 65 year old on a TY175 be able to get it done, or am I just dreaming? Anyway its great that you have such a wonderful place to ride. Every time we drive thru Utah on our way to and from Washington I am so impressed with the area that I try talking the wife into moving.

Nice clean bike, should be fun.
-
Took a bit to get the photos posted but any help would be appriciated.
-
The one I have has a seperate tank and used the stock seat. I got the bike in kit form in 1981, and assembled it when I got back to the US. Will post a picture later.
-
Does anyone know a source for a replacement gas tank for a TY 80 Whitehawk big wheel? Would be nice if it looked orginal but at this point most any nice looking easy to install replacement would do.
-
I used "KRYLON Fusion" which matched the frame really close, not quite as high gloss but works well. The fenders bend with out any effect on the paint.
-
White it is, just ordered MS pegs and IRC tires. Engine is almost ready to reinstall.
-
WOW!! Thats just the info I needed.
-
I am in the middle of rebuilding a TY175, and the stock rear silencer is missing. Would like to replace the stock system with a WES, but to ride on public land I need a US approved spark arrester. So unless someone can give me an option I am in need of a stock silencer. If any one has one they want to get rid of PM me. Thanks in advance for any help.

Got the old girl stripped down and ready for paint. Don't know if I will go with silver or white. Leaning towards white just to be a little different.

Forgot about the beer, Not bad if you strained thru your teeth.

You should check out TTC.

Got the carb sorted out, new plug and fired right up. Tad bit loud without the sparkie but the engine sounded great, rev up.
-
I worked the WTC round in Globe as well. Small world!!!

Good to see you on the site. I was a member of CAT in the 70's before a two year tour in the UK. Rode with them some in the late 80's, your name sounds very familar so we may have rode together at some time. I was on a TY175 and my boy rode a SWM, we lived in Tucson.
-
If you go to the tc garage there are photo's of both. Should help.
-
Squid,
Thanks for the link. Just got the carb off for a cleaning, I mite be able to save it. Checked the spark and it looks strong. So should be able to get it running soon.
