It wouldn't do Pidcocks any harm to ask her to help them up there, there can't be too many folk that know exactly what it takes to provide service for 40 or so bikes SSDT week.
-
348 bike & airbox pictures, 349 up to at least the white wonder were like this as well
-
it does, you're right. What I can understand though is how the airbox bolts in.
-
Not having ever owned a late 349 means I'm not certain but I think they had a different box which was common with the 330, so if you want one I'd guess you're looking for rocking horse ****. I do know that the frame there & the airbox do not match, that airbox is top fixed & the 348 I have has a frame to match it hole wise. I think you need to be googleing round for some pictures because I'm not 100% convinced that what you've got is all one bike.

The bike was sold as a Cota Clubman in 1977, it had the same alloy mudguards that the UKR model had, it was meant as it's replacement. There's an article in the Rob Edwards column of TMX #14 Aug 19 1977 & then there's a full bike test in issue #20. I wouldn't be able to point out that there's several TMX news for sale on ebay at the moment, that's advertising.
-
Well you're 2 years nearer than the bloke that sold it, bike is from 1977.
-
I thought parts one & two were moderate but my 10 year old watching companion thought they were awesome. We've just sat & watched parts one & two of BoB, far better in my opinion.
-
It's a common feature on a Sherco
-
Doesn't the fact that they started using tubeless tyres on Trials bikes give you a clue?
-
RMC 3 Day will be beyond someone just back into Trials, Blue Bar is a good w/e, scope for most classes

your cup isn't just half full, it runneth over.
-
Like Andy said, go buy your favorite porn title & crack one off to it, it's all they're doing.
-
You're an old bloke, does the doctor warm it before he puts his ?
-
Looking at the scores it should cure any problems of far too many folk wanting to ride.
-
I think Mr Bou would need to be available to tackle a hazard as daunting as that.
-
MRS have just released a special edition of the Nau helmet, it's the 'Yorkshire Limited Editon' & it's called the 'Nau Then' Available from MRS & all good Nau stockists, all real Trials riders will be getting one.
-
You've also got to remember that in all sports the 'class' factor. Trials isn't a race, it's about composure & hitting everything as near to spot on as you can, the more 'class' you have, the more time you have to do this. So you've got to make the best of what you've got & do it your own way, this ends up most of the time not the way of the experts. Go watch a decent Trial, not a bit of flag dancing, watch how most riders get into trouble because the bike gets there before them, an awful lot of lads spend their day chasing a bike round that for one reason or another is too hot for them.
-
but you wouldn't be good enough to ride as a novice up north so why do you need to ride with so called expert gearing?
-
You do talk B*****ks, why because you don't ride 10 - 42 do you think it's a novice gearing?
-
Greedy bugger, isn't one curry enough for you?
-
Had it occurred that Gate Trials are actually Kickstart but sold in a different way? After all it's **** or bust Trials, make a mistake it's a 5 or 20 seconds or 7 million francs dependant where you live.
-
Yes, I think the Dougie bubble has well & truly burst. The top level of the sport does not exactly capture the public imagination & what are very difficult financial times the current future for the sport isn't exactly rosey.
