Oldaz, i cant tell you how far the forks are pulled in - but it just seems to make it a bit better on tighter turns !!! Brewtus , someone has to keep them going !!! cheers guys - I’ll keep you updated as much as I can !! as always The Wobbler

The smooth sumpguard doesn’t “Snag” the same on Rocks and gives a little bit more ground clearance....... The footpegs moved down and back ..along with the fitment of wider modern pegs makes it more comfortable ...... & combined with some modified yokes makes it a bit easier to turn ...... I had a new one of these in 1979 but the sections were more straight forward then ...... I’ve made it as rideable as I can..... I’m bringing it back out again this Year to use in the Kia Rounds ... Hysterically Spanish ..... re the stress - most other bikes of the era .... Bultaco , Ossa ... I think they only had 2 engine mounting points !! It owes me way more than it’s worth ..... but I’ll never sell it !!!! Ive ridden it in the Manx Classic & Highland Classic on the Hard Routes ....not an easy day out but good fun !!!

    Beta TR34 piston

There are a few of us looking for the same thing ..... we can get some made but only for between 10& 15 .... one of the lads has a piston to copy ..... but trying to get circa £250 - 300 of everyone seems to have slowed this down ....pm me your name & number and if it moves along I'll give you a shout !!!! cheers as always The Wobbler!!
  7. Metisse, hope youre well. Its a great trial although slightly confusing where the scores are concerned. I would ride the middle course ....But I Think this year we might take 80cc Fantics to some of these trials and ride the easier route ....just for the banter. The hard course just looked a little tight for me !! We are including it in our plan for next year - much he same as Costa Brava .......This Year .....Bikes & a van / trailer out with most of us flying. What is on the weekend before & after .....as some of us might try and do 2 or 3 trials ....leaving the bikes & a driver there and flying in and out ??? Keep me in the loop !! Cheers as always THE WOBBLER
  8. here goes my 10 pence worth .....I am riding the Kia Round on Sunday which has a 100 plus entries ....Gerry Minshall one of the Kia Organisers pointed out the Trial was running and quite a few of us had entered & booked accommodation to go and ride ....... Then earlier this week it was cancelled due to a lack of entries !!! There is more than one Kia Round in wales & it makes sense to "Piggy Back" that event to get entries .....but the problem here was the lack of publicity in all areas .....The sense would have been to ask the Kia organisers to put the entry forms on the facebook page or in with the entry forms ....which I know for a fact they would have done. Rather than cancelling - I would rather have ridden 10 sections 4 times and self observed .....if they keep cancelling such a good event how will it ever become popular again !!! Cheers as always The Wobbler
  9. I was just wanting to make sure that the Trial was still on as it clashes with the Lakes 2 Day Trial ??? Cheers as always The Wobbler !!!!
  10. As always ...... you will get good deals and bad deals ......and we all have to choose who to deal with and who not to ...... so at the minute 2 saying ok one saying not !
  11. Adrian - is on the trials scene and can be found at most of the Kia Twinshock rounds....... he sells a lot of bikes and I have only ever found him to be fair & straight talking.....send him a message or just give him a ring !!!! Depending which bike and where you are ..... he might be able to get it closer to you to see !!!! Cheers As always The Wobbler
  12. exactly - Local Dealer all the way .......I am about to try a New Pair .....But bought the Black Ones ....Any White Boots for me have always been a nightmare ......They won't stop on the pegs !!!!
