  1. Had the bike put tonight for the first time in months. Clattered about as usual and hit the odd rock or two, then noticed the gear lever a bit bent, then I couldn't find any other gears apart from first and second ?? What may I have done to cause this and what may be the sure ?? 250 2014 factory replica.
  2. I did this with the first tubular model(2010) and take it from me, it doesn't work that well.
  3. The best six days video I have ever watched, bar none, brilliant.
  4. Dibs lost about 30 mins on time by watching the jitsie vid, Lamps about 10 mins it seems.
  5. Apparently some major time marks were lost, some big numbers I hear, though not totally surprised given the conditions today, could be interesting reading, and a test of those in charge.,
  6. Good quality boots but heavy.
  7. Aye and don't let that Grant fella try and sell you a dog, it's rubbish up rocky burns.
  8. Well, be prepared for some on here to jump to their defense at the slightest wiff of criticism. I had similar tales back in September/October, it's coming this week, no sorry next week, it'll be here on Wednesday, ooops, sorry transport was held up in Spain, bla bla bla. When a bike finally did arrive, it wasn't what I had ordered, thankfully, I didn't pay any deposit. They, be it jgas or suanders are a nightmare to deal with, but sit aptiently and await gasgaswhatshisname jumping in and defending them, and then slagging me off in the process.
  9. 1. Pointing down is on, towards the engine is reserve, towards the rear wheel is off 2. There are two types of levers, real cheapo ones break all the time and cost £6 dearer ones bend and cost approix £15, I know which ones I buy 3. ebay 4. Nae idea.
  10. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say......Perth mcc trials aren't for a complete novice imo, I personally wouldn't recommend a complete novice to their trials. The wobblers is where it's at for novice riders and Dunfermline do three routes so they have something for everyone.

    Jitsie Ht1

I fancy the new jacky brown designs.
  12. Those were her words after Dalbog the other week, she said....WTF am I doing here, I'm 52, I should be at home ironing or something when it's this cold
  13. I thpught it was the kehin carb on the 290 ? Have you tried a new plug ?
  14. My partner has been doing trials for about 4 years now and if I'm being honest, she's got worse, can hardly put in two laps now nevermind 4, but unlike you, she just isn't putting the time in or doing any practise, and granted, she's 52 next month, so probably should be at home ironing and washing, but she still enjoys it, and that's what it's all about.
  15. There is a fuel tap at the bottom of the tank on the 2011 model, should be right at the bottom of the tank beside the pump, turn it back towards the rear.

    Gas Gas Future?

£3700 for a factory replica from the factory, importers are making a fair whack selling them at 6k a pop, granted there is import duty but still approx 1200 - 1400 per bike

    Observing

    I blame the parents.
  21. Heard it's to be £12 next year (2015)
  22. Thinking about getting a new helmet and seems Airoh is the "in vogue" helmet nowadays, but does anyone have a Jitsie HT2 FLO carbon, looks nice but doesn't seem to have as much vents as the airoh.
  23. Try reading the topic title
  24. I would forget all about spending a lot of money on a rear shock at beginner level, you're not good enough to notice any difference IMO. I have a 2014 factory all singing, all dancing top of the range Reiger, can I tell the difference between that and the olle on my previous 2012 sherco....nope.
