I think the guy is absolutely spot on about the land and ownership, but from the running of the ssdt I can fully understand why they don't want unofficial riders there, but it is common knowledge that riders can ride all over the place on their trials bikes in that area and there be no issue outside six days in May.

Nice one, had a look at a couple of the sections they use on Sunday up past pipeline, I wouldn't attempt them with ropes nevermind with a bike, good luck

Maybe you'd like to tell everyone how you managed to have a a hole punched in the 0 on section two as well as the 5 I had punched for that section, and then tell the scorer it was a clean when she queried it

I'm terribly sorry, i wasnt aware i had to explain my trials bike buying policy to the membership of trials central, but seeing as it seems i do i shall. On 21st December i part exchanged my 2010 sherco for a new 2012 sherco, yesterday lunchtime i sold my beta 270 then in the evening bought a gas gas 125.
I sincerly hope that meets your approval and fully explains any confusion that may have occured, finally, if you have nothing to add in regards helping me with the original post questions, please movealong, there is nothing for you to see here.

Ive just went from 2010 sherco to 2012 and just had my best two results in my last two trials, im happy.

Yes I know, the same boring old questions but, I have just cancelled my contract with Beta and moved to Gas Gas in a deal worth the 12 hour round trip I'm just home from, so sorry about these questions but I just want to go to bed, wake up and have some answers as I honestly can't be bothered searching....so.....

How much gear oil ?
It seems to be geared for the road (I want it geared for trials) So what's best gearing for it ?
It has a 44 ( I think on the rear) and a 49 spare, what's best ??

Not really no, a local club trial where you will meet genuine people with genuine bikes who will most probably tell you the truth about it.
I believe so

There is the still on going issue with bars lock to the frame, the 2010 marked up the frame quite badly, the 2011 had the same issue but all they have done was fit a black guard on the frame, and nothing has changed on the 2012, in fact I just noticed mine today has alread got a mark in the frame due to a poor fitting guard

I have formula on my new sherco, so far, touch woid they have been superb and yes there is only one adjustment but its perfect for me.
