  1. Isn't that the whole reason Sheffield isn't a world round, because if it was to be shown live on TV the organisers would have to stick to a strict timing schedual or something along those lines?...
  2. It's a great evenings entertainment. The only advice I'd give is try to get seats on the first tier as the second tier can be a bit too far back to see all the action.(although there will no doubt be large screens showing all the action) I purchased 3 tickets a couple of weeks ago and struggled to find any decent seats by going directly through the sheffield arena website. I used Ticketmaster and was able to find seats in a decent location on the first tier. Hope that helps

  4. Wow! I can't believe the balance he has to say he's just 3 years old. That's amazing! Toni Bou best watch his back, there's a new kid on the block.
  5. John is a friendly guy and it's worth giving him a ring. He may open the quarry as a one off for you. He used to open from time to time for me but this was years ago before all the Health + Safety regs. If you were to ride up there during the week you may not be covered by insurance, H+S etc... so he may be unable to open during the week for the odd rider anymore
  6. You have just reminded me of a recent column by JD in the TMX a few weeks back. This may answer a few of your questions. (Copied from JD's column at tmxnews.co.uk The pros and cons of live TV Published: 03rd December 2010 This week we look at the world trials and enduro champs on telly
  7. I had a 1999 Beta Techno that was an ex-SSDT. Out of all the bikes I've owned it was the most reliable. It never broke down in the two years I owned it.
