    used it on sunday first real test with the new jets in 110 45 spot on runs great good steady idle loads of power still got the rattle but il sort that in a month or 2 got the daughters ty 80 to bring back to life now if its not one thing its another thanks to all for the suggestions and myzeneye for the jet tip thanks

    right gents read everything and ive got a lot to go on ive ordered points and condensor woodruff key will get the exhaust off and clean it up tank breather ok where does the breather pipe coming out of the reed block go to currently got a screw in it can you tell me the points gap please and would you recomend an iridium plug or isnt it suitable with points thanks

    not had the bike long it had been standing for about 2 years ive been running it 50;1 with castrol a747 prior to it dying it was running very nicely

    hi my daughter was out on her little 80 today and it died it sounded like fuel starvation after about 30 mins we gave up when home i have checked everything carb is clean air filter new and genuine new plug reeds close flat against the block a very good spark compression but no running any ideas
  8. what made it seize ? will the mains and big end be ok too ?
  9. i think if the rev 3 is a 250 you will find it a much easier bike to ride than the gasser
  10. as pistonbroke says flywheel cover off and a quick spray in there after each wash great bike

    i use a747 on the daughters ty80 so it has got to be worth a try cheers

    ok 110 and 45 jets installed set needle second from bottom changed mix screw and spring and idle screw started first kick after very little adjustments seems to run very nicely but still got top end rattle whilst out last weekend got one of the lads to have a listen to it (a good bike mechanic / beta guru ) he said yes little end but not worth doing for ages
