welcome to trials tedm.i like you had no real bike riding experience.a few of my mates bought trials bikes so i thought i would get one too.i bought a sherco 200 for a 1000 quid .now i,m totally into it .did about 10 trials last year all beginners which were brilliant.if i were you go and have a look at a trial first then have a go yourself.everyone is really friendly and always willing to give help and advice.

one bloke i do work for must have the best job i,ve ever heard of.he works for formula one,he sets up the timing around the track.don,t know how he got the job but it,s well paid and he only works the f1 season

the best stuff to use to secure your ground anchor is "HILTI" chemical fixing .it comes in tubes and is a two part mixture.its what they use to anchor scaffolding to the sides of buildings.brilliant product.
and before anyone comments ,no i don,t work for HILTI,just use the product sometimes at work

ground anchor with insurance approved lock and chain,another chain and lock round a big heavy work bench and a master blaster siren on the alarm. if the scum gets in the garage they are going out of it deaf with 127db of siren .also got the bike insured if the worst happens.don,t think theres much more i can do!!

i drove a warrior myself ,didn,t like it at all .has any one else on here go a 4x4 pick up ?? what are the pro's and con's of yours?. i like the look of the new hi lux ,the navara or the ford .any ideas anyone

i,ve been thinking of getting rid of my merc vito and getting a 4x4 pick up .i liked the look of the navara.wot problems have you had brad ? i'd be interested to know before buying .

great night .nail biting finish .sad to not have dougie in the final but what a star bou was .the only rider to ask the crowd for support (in the middle of a section) and did they give it.the whole place was shouting tony-tony at the end .wondered if the guy taking the photo's in the red t shirt,blue waist coat was mr grieg???? anybody know

go for the baybrook off road (BOR) fork protectors .got mine from appleyards ,not too far from you .had no problems with my seals .about 11 quid well worth it

got mine with ticketmaster, adults tickets were 31.25 ,kids 21.50. didn,t think it was too bad to see the best riders in the world .most pop/rock concerts are far more expensive than this .

the clutch was dragging badly on my 05 200 gasgas .changed gearbox oil to dexron atf(automatic transmission fluid)as recommended by many on this site.the atf works great no drag at all .check previous discussions on this topic to get exact discription of atf required

couple of my pals have gas gas 300,s and montesa's .they are always flipping their bikes and getting into trouble on them,maybe they,ve got too much power for their ability.when they ride my gasgas 200 they carn't believe how light it feels ,even though it weighs as much as their 300's.point is ,it's ok having all that power if you can use it . get a 200 and enjoy your riding
