    mayonnaise !

check that one or two crankcase bolts situated outside your flywheel havent vibrated loose and letting gearbox oil seep into the mag area and emulsifying with moisture from washing the bike or wet weather.
  2. try this matey http://www.trialspartsusa.com/manuals/manualtxtpro2004eng.pdf
  3. double check that the earth wire ( thin BLK/WHITE) from the cdi plug to the frame aint broken or corroded. this was a big problem on these years as the wire was not long enough and under tension.
  4. are you absolutley sure its coming from the breather pipe?. if so take your clutch casing off and remove centre bolt which secures the clutch to the drive shaft and check the hole through the middle of this allen bolt to make sure its not obscured with some small piece of crap and causing an obstruction to the oil flow from one side of the cases to the other. you could also check first that the gearbox final drive seal inside of your front sprocket isnt weeping just incase its that rather than from the crankcase breather.
  5. loads of info on this in the forums mate, but here goes for you. 400cc or 400 ml of atf dexron iid, or light gear oil . once you have put the oil in then with the bike stood upright if you look in the sight glass on the clutch cover, it should be about 3/4 of the way up the sight glass.
  6. i think its something to do with the overflow brass pipe inside the float bowl on the 09. its angle is exagirated by the way the carb is angled into the intake on the beta. pretty sure there is a mod you can get from lamkins for it.
  7. hayter have bought the engine rights for a special centenary mower
  8. there might not be any clubs left in a couple of years!!
  9. some class welding on the frame!
  10. if you have adjusted the crew on the lever to master cylinder right out this will be your problem. you must have freeplay at least 5mm or the fluid cant return after the clutch stroke, so enevetiably you basicly create a vacum and the fluid cant be pumped along the line to the clutch to operate. in simple terms the fluid needs to be able to get back up and in front of the piston for the next clutch stroke.
  11. they are only worth it "after" you have damaged the frame on rockwork!!

  15. well done justin and gerty, did you take the clay from sunday for MOT as well mate. Took me ages to get that off the boys bikes. By the way this here E mark thing on the Mich is as i was told why the mich was more expensive because of road legality. If thats the case why is the IRC as expensive as its not legal. supposition i reckon but if Bou started winning on Vee Rubber then they would go through the roof as well.
  16. thing is justin if you got a lighter bike yhan gert it would not distort the tyres mate.
  17. gearbox oil 375 cc to 400cc is plenty and change regular. fork oil level go to http://www.trialspartsusa.com/ and click on TECH all the info you need. clutch fluid on the bike is mineral not dot4 . fill to about half full or just over.
  18. yes but its down to peoples perception of a knock chap!.
  19. check the teeth for ware and tear on the kickstart idle gear. if its knocking as you rev engine and goes faster and slower with the rev fluctuations it could well be that.
  20. seen 3 necks break on 08/ 09 models 1 completley off. 2 of these people have gone to steel rads from ally ones.
  21. synthetic oils are not condusive with the surflex clutch plates , it can make them swell up . gas gas recomend mineral oil and most people use dexron Dii atf which is mineral based and also cheap.
  22. Ian,check the small earth wire from cdi to frame . still coming out of the factory too short and can break easy.
