  1. better staying with a 10t on the front,11t makes it to quick.
  2. sounds like a gear box strip but check the gear shaft selector where the gear pedal goes.you will have to remove clutch case first to check it.
  3. one packed up by the third group on the monday.my pal had to bring it back in his van.it was head gasket i think.i heard them say to a rider the head bolts had come loose.the lenth of time they have been testing, this shouldnt happen.wont do much for bike sales.if you enter the ssdt the main thing is 100% finish.
  4. on your licence it will have A CLASS AND YOUR NUMBER.if you want to ride as an adult you will have to send your licence to the sacu and say you want a adult novice licence.hope this helps willie.
  5. you can ride a 4t in B class as scorpa makes a 125 one.but i suppose you mean a 250 4t. you cant ride one in youths till you are 16 and you can get a adult licence. as for licence do you mean comp or road.

    used putoline light gear oil in dozens of gas gas,s and never had a problem.

    nothing wrong with using fully used ipone samurai for more years than can remember and never had a problem.as for bogging down on low revs, never heard of that one.

    yea the 290 is far beter than the 250. 3 base gaskets and retard the timing and slow action throttle.done quite a few and it works.why change carbs etc when its already got one, nothing wrong with the one thats on it.

    would go with maximum base gaskets,makes a big differance.

    if the pistons ar fully in and you cant split the caliper using a compressor is the only way to do it.it wont damage the seals,we do it on car calipers all the time .hope this helps .
  17. get yourself a tin of brake cleaner and use that.also good for fitting handle bar grips.
  18. around 30 down on last year,could be the traveling costs.
  19. dont use these super thick enduro tubes as they dont work at low pressure.a mich h/d is the one to use.if you ride 6 psi and 4 psi rear put them upto 7 and 5 and you wont have any trouble.the tube you take out the front put it in your back pack and its lighter.dont put tools on your bike.you could end up loosing them.almost nobody puts stuff one the bike.always carry a spare chain tensioner pad.try and work out the minimum of tools to carry . carry spare split link and also a spare plug.
  20. you just change the top end and rejet the carb.everything is the same.
  21. clubman trial at fintry will be spot on only one route and it wont be hard.very good venue and a big lap both days.camping at the venue aswell.its in central scotland and between edinburgh and glasgow.all very welcome.
  22. are you are shorting out the wires at the thermostat.if not do it there and the fan should work. if not check the fan is o/k by checking it with a 12v battery.
  23. you dont need to spend all the money on just going to the world round.you could also make it a holiday and visit scotland.its beautiful at that time of the year.as you said its the school holidays.i stay in scotland and make up any excuse to get away up north.
