  1. I can't see how the 2 strokes will get fazed out as they are far superior to the four strokes and meet all the admission requirements. It the day came the ever stopped making them, I'd buy a few new gasers and ride them for the rest of my trials riding days and still be on a superior machine in 20 years time!
  2. In July 2003 i bought a new Gas Gas rookie 80 from a company called Garcia motos in Spain, paid for by credit card over the phone took 1 week to come by carrier, bike cost
  3. I had a mate who successfully built a four stroke machine. He used a gas gas frame and a honda engine. He put 2 shocks where the monoshock would have gone. it looked very good and rode quite well, well for a 4 stroke anyway. Its still around somewhere I think, but he sold it about 6 years ago. I would have just stuck with a gas gas, but it seemed to keep him happy for awhile!

I don't think the people who use this forum are naive enough to think a brittish based dealer is able to sell bikes for the same price as spannish dealers can. It laws of economics, most of the bikes are made in spain, no import tax, smaller transport costs and the major facter is the standard of living, the standard of living in spain is not comparable to that of England. Thats why things cost more. you can have everything i.e. NHS, toll free roads, public services the money has to come from somewhere and thats tax! The price of bike over the pass couple of years has only being increasing slightly and I'd say that this more to do with price raises in spain than anything to do with any UK based Dealer or Importer. Gas Gas still remain the cheapest bike to buy and the only one under
