Forks completed, wheel mounted....
next time i will take only the engine and put the rest in the dustbin.....
-
I have a problem with my B40 fork ( heavy weight )
When I put the Fork shaft into the Bottom tube the lower bush stops at about 2 inches, normaly ( at Spanish and japanese forks) I can move the shaft down to the ground of the tube.....
What should I do ?
Reducing the diameter of the lower bush a little bit ?
I change no parts except the seals on the fork and before disassembling everything works fine......

The 2012 Range ( 500 pieces ) is sold out, 2013 there will be more explorers avaliable, OSSA don't exactly knows when production of the 2013 explorer starts, the Austrian importer says april.....
-
I hope you enjoy the bike, I'm waiting for the 2013 Explorer ( April or Mai ), i don't have such a nice playground at front of my door....
Write more about your experiences with the explorer .....

I mailed to the Ossa export manager last week and he told me that the production of the 125cm³ will start very soon, on trialworld.es you can read that delivering will start on october.....
http://trialworld.es/actualidad/ultimas-noticias/816-ossa-prepara-la-tr125i-para-octubre-.html
engine will be like the 280 Ossa, different crank and cylinder with setup as the 125cm³ Gas Gas racing..... ( told my dealer, who is very engaged in OSSA.. )

I had a lot of trouble with leaking Betors, NJB experts are very good for the price, I use them in two Fantics and ordered now for my B40, Falcons are better in damping but starting to leak sometimes I have some in my Fantic 300 and they are the best I ever had in trials use....

Hi !
I carry the bike today home from denmark, first kick starter, piston rattles a little, runs great, sound greater, looks , but engine has already Boyerignition and external oil-filter.....

Hi !
More than a half year later, the bike was stll for sale, I make an offer an fixed the deal ( for a very good price.... )
I will get the bike next thursday and now I need a dealer were I can buy parts in high quality...
First I need a high level Exhaust ,a solo seat and a Trial handlebar, after getting German Homologation I need Alloy Tank, alloy Mudgards and a Trial footrest kit, who make some ???
There are lots of dealers , do they all sell the same stuff or are there differences ????
-
Falcons are the best ( for normal prices ), NJB expert are good too, forget Betor, they have a lot of quality problems, leaking often....
-
I bought a new 290 Access in the end of 2009, I had a TY250 mono and a 02 250 Sherco before....
I tried a lot to get the 290 softer, I changed the Caburator from Flat to Normal, fitted a slow domino, but that was not my bike to much power, too angry... I sold it a year later and went to twinshock...
In 2012 I will try again with modern Trials, I will buy a Sherco 200....
For you, look after a 250, wait some days more ore drive a few miles more and you will have much more fun with a smooth riding bike....
-
The bike will come with about 180cm
-
I heard from the german importeur that Sherco will issue a limited edition with 200cm
-
Get a copy of the papers today its a B40GDxxx so it's a former danish army bike (1968) , so the gear box must be right for trials use ???
-
I'm interested in this B40 : http://hosbond.dk/bil-detaljer?bil=292201346#
The seller told me that it is no ex army bike, but as I know all "WD" are sold as army bikes, I cannot found informations about a normal B4 version build 1968....

What a bike is it ?
It's a good basic for trial modifikation ?
The price is good for german conditions.... so I place the topic not in our forum....

I own a TY125, TY250 and a Fantic200, the 200 has a very god frame, a very smooth operating engine with enough power for hills and normal steps. For a normal non high professional driver it will be the best twinshock ever build...
A 300 engine in the 240 frame, known as 340, might be the best for very god drivers who wants to anger modern Trials rider....
-
TY 125 is a very nice little Trial bike, if you know a little french, you found a lot here : http://www.mijossi.com/3ty/trialiser.html
I use 1:75 with Castrol RS for Trial use, parts are avaliabel by sammy miller http://www.sammymillerproducts.co.uk/ , trials&trials http://www.tytrials.co.uk/ and many more.....
Here is a picture of my son's TY125, modified with Sammy Miller footrest kit ,WES silencer, majesty tank and 340mm Betors... TY 125
-
Can you make some Pictures of the changes on the frame ? I'm actually starting such a project for my son....
