  1. Oh ... Do you want to talk parts now ? Lol. (Make it up as you go along). Is a little more complicated than your simple one or the the other country. What can you tell us about 4rt parts production Andrew ?
  2. Nope - Montesa assemble every standard 4RT engine in Spain. I watched engine assembly when i visited the factory there .
  3. I've been told by someone working at the factory that by the 12th of this month , the production line is planned to be producing 80 bikes per day. No further details.
  4. Not so long ago i went to visit the 1980 World Trials Champion Ulf Karlson at his home in Sweden . He lives in this picture perfect little town on the edge of a huge lake. It is gorgeous and when i went it was nice , warm and sunny , which made it even better. He's a great guy and once you get to know him , he even smiles .... sometimes . For me it was great to meet the Champion who had just disappeared. I got to see his bikes , home and photos. I interviewed him for my hobby web and he was very honest and frank. It hasn't all been plain sailing for Ulf. He's had some highs and lows. If you want, you can read to see how Ulf is doing . Its here . http://www.retrotrials.com/exclusive---a-detailed-career-interview-with-ulf-karlson.html
  5. One is on eBay. The manual is the same as the bigger engined bike of the same year.
  6. Those red yokes look like Jotagas ones.
  7. A terrific video Guys. Nice find

    Trs Bike Unveiled

Yes Crazy ....anyone would have thought that he watches this forum like a hawk ......which is of course is exactly what he does.
  9. Thank you and I know you were trying to help .I didnt want the science just those questions answering so i can decide whether to buy one or not. Nothing more Thanks
  10. Is this model suitable for a single or double garage? Garage with ceiling or open timbers? Does this blow the heat around on a fan ? Is it an air conditioner ? What is the running cost of this leaving it on as a de humid ? On a different subject .I just cant see a fan on its own could help with damp air at this time of year. Surely the only way is to heat the air or suck the moisture out with dehumidifier .
  11. If you do take a test ride , I hope you like them. They're a well kept secret and massively underrated .
  12. If you fancy it you can even book a test ride in Spain via the Jotagas.com website or via Vince in Havens in the UK.
  13. I'm on my 2nd Jotagas and 70/1 fully synthetic works well. It never clogs up. Always revs clean. I use any good brand. Don't stretch it to any less oil than that. It would just be a gamble.
  14. There is heavy damp in the air and it gets everywhere . Cavity brick garages with dpc's are just as bad. I need to introduce heat or a dehumidifier.

    Test Rides

They were at Hook woods a short while ago.
  17. They made sewing machines as well with beautiful cast Ossa ironwork stands underneath. They do make nice tables with a little work . Ive got a couple lying around - more projects !. Ossa in the 40's also made wooden cinema seats which are nicely embossed on the back area .They had no seat pads. The screenings were only 20 mins and so comfort wasnt needed. Ive a wide 3 bum version in the original green paint with air rest between each person. They are very sweet. Ive no ossa bikes as i recall. Nice bikes though
  18. Here's my Ossa Its the VI first serial model . 35mm exactly It was made in 1943 .300 were produced. It spent its life in the LOS MAÑOS village cinema in the area of BUJARALOZ in Zaragoza. It was the only projector for many km and announced the end of the 2nd World war. It was removed in 1996

    Trs Bike Unveiled

Definitely. Im sure Ross is a priority .... but playing devils advocate Pol is also a priority. He is a rider of theirs and also needs to bond with the bike for as many hours as possible. The difference is that getting a bike into the Uk would also help publicity .....but there are always choices in life and sometimes peeps have to wait longer than others . Its just life. Everyone wants their bike first. I did ...they will.

    Trs Bike Unveiled

Pol collecting his new TRS on the 22nd. The bike at this stage is standard. He's very happy with it. Ill post up some videos i was sent , if i can work out how to do it
  22. You'll be fine getting spares. Everyone I know whose needed spares had got them
  23. I know I'm metaphorically a mouse in a snake pit on this thread with you Honda devout Catholics . Genuinely though. .. I'm reasonable enough to know that most of you guys riding these things drop hundreds less than me Ha ha yes.. but not a lot happened. .. it just made more noise
  24. The quality is very good ,the chassis feels good .... but the engine !!!!. I rode a brand new 250 and I couldn't believe how gutless it was. My childhood c90 felt like it had the same power. They might last forever but they aren't the fun of riding a 2 stroke. No chance
  25. Naaaa. Your looking into it to deeply. Its a ride. The bike is there already , just his prefs to dial in.
