Does anybody out there know what happened to them ? Their web presence is completely gone and they used to list a bunch of off beat / rare Fantic parts ...
Any info helpful .

Well I bought the bike to show to a mucho better guy sat. morning ... Aluminum shaping master ... Kinda decided I'm gonna attach the gas cap to the stock tank , eliminate all the plastic , and he will build a sexy aluminum one peice shroud/cover for the tank and seat panel ... Stock thumbscrew at front and stock Dzus fastener at the seat end ... Now it's just time and $$$ (but less $$$) My first guy is really good , but seems to lack the vision of the 2nd ... And I know , it's silly to do all this , but I want a special bike !
-
Well my yard has turned into a swamp ... even had a alligator snapping turtle basking in my driveway the other day ... Fastest turtle I ever saw !
But we've been weird too , 80's one day , 40 the next ... and always raining

Thanks So Much ! enrico !!! Thats the one , And gasserguy , That link is way cool too ! never saw that one before .

Hey Folks , A while back there was a post that someone gave a reply to with a link to a shop in the UK that had square tubing swing arms for Fantic 240's and some retro Fantic jerseys too ... I want one of the Jerseys and have been searching all morning . I don't remember what the initial post was about , but I looked at the link and was impressed .
Any help greatly appreciated !!!

Lineaway .... Wow !!! Thanks SO MUCH !!! You are going to R.I. aren't you ? I owe you a good dinner along with the pint !!!!
And for all you fellow Fantic Freaks , Here is a photo of the gas cap I just received today for the section aluminum tank project . If you want some things done 1st class , sometimes you've got to add the inspiration , The chap doing it for me has made up with 3 different top panels so far , all with funky 4rt type caps . Not what I'm after for a one of a kind bike .He's one of the best fab/metal men I've ever met , but so far the propositions have just looked awkward to me . The photo's show the flywheel puller to give a idea of the size of the cap for the next attempt .... wish me luck , this is getting expensive .... Now to do a tank based on my gas cap ...
But my C@sta +1 will be SWEET !

So are you trying to beat "kenny the rooster " for replies with this one ???
Glenn

Pretty sure that is a 240 pro motor ...

I'll have to get you a pint or two ...

I asked RYP last weekend and he has no news yet , But a bunch of the old 803's in stock. The section needs rubber before I actually start using it .
May just try a set of X-lites for our local mud ....

Well I just went out to the shop and pulled the kickstarter and flywheel cover off the section ... Without taking off the crank nut , it's definitely bigger than my 240 puller . , 32mm eyeballs about right . I forgot how big the bolt on weights on my section are too !
So Bob , send me a pm with some payment details for paypal ....or you should still have my e-mail address ?
Thanks ,
Glenn

Hi Folks ,
Does anybody know if the puller I have for my 240 pro is the same size for my section ? Or what size my section needs ?
Or should I just go out there and start taking the section apart ?
Thanks ,
Glenn

You'd have to know Murray , although I haven't seen him out and about for a couple of years now .... The Surveying biz must be good ...

If he's close , go look at them and try them on . I personally like gaerne's the best , with novagars a close second . But everybody is different ...

And I just have to add , Ryan is so much more fun in person ... His schools are the best ...

OK , So now when your back tire hits the ground , go about 3 feet forward then flick a 180 and go back over the log ... And tape that at normal speed ....

When I was a kid in New England , (1970's !) The NETRA moved you up automatically , I don't remember what the conditions were , but there was no sandbagging allowed .... Boy I wish sometimes I had made better life defining decisions ....
