Looks like a great day out in the mud !!!
-
The petcock may be plugged ... residual gunk can easily block/restrict the reserve port on the petcock , take it out and clean it .

TL 125 as a first trials bike ... Just ran across some photo's of me back in the '70's on my tl125 . I wish I still had the little Thumper !
I think I'm 13 in these shots ...
-
I wonder if that explains guys problems with downhill sections ??

I don't have a answer for your question , But that is a kinda unique looking bike you've got there ... Interesting Footpeg mounts !

For my OLD bikes , I tend to locate and obtain my parts myself , But the common bits I get from our stateside partners in the mud ... And yeah I've got enough 240 pro hardware stocked up to build another complete bike with spares leftover , I tend to buy alot of hard parts just 'cause they are getting harder to find in decent shape , And I've got a collection of different ign. systems set aside too... Some of the stuff is slowly turning into unobtainium ...
Someday I may buy a new trials bike , and at that point I would have to become buddy's with the importer I guess !
But if it wasn't for the internet , I'd only have brand new bikes , as I couldn't search the world for parts at my leisure ...

And to all the straightforward non beleivers out there ... As the decal aplication gets just a bit busier , I think it starts to look better ! (or it might just be the camera angle ! )
Glenn , have fun !

OK , now on to another vote ...as you can see the tank stickers I was waiting for actually arrived today , when I got home from my daughters rugby match , (them GIRLS are tough !!!) I applied the decals (and yes I put these on level , despite my urge to just splatter them on !) ...
Now my question , Do I add the spare set of 240 pro sidepanel decals with the red, white and blue border (as OE.) or just the 240 trials professional letters only from the set ? Or just leave it simple as is and keep em guessing ?
HHMMMN ?

(and the main frame will be Black when I get around to it ...)

Steve , if you get the chance , eyeball and drive the Nissan NV's , I love mine , and it's actually quite economical for the long haul ....

I wish I still had my 501 ... It always managed to drain my adrenaline and make me smile , or terrify me ... But I was young and so was she .

Keep your front windows open , that darn carbon monoxide might try to make you sleepy ...

Not Being there , and just from general experience , I would vote for as little road work as possible ?

Well I just installed a new pair of footpeg brackets , Thanks to Fantic 303 ! I tried for months to get some from that shop in France , but I could never get a response from them ... But '303 saved the day for me What a difference pegs mounted at the same angle make ! whoda thunk it !

Bel-ray Chain lube or WD40 ... Which ever is handy , Clean the build up off the sprockets once in awhile .
I always lube them up after washing bike and lube heavy the nite before a ride so the carrier evaporates away .
I may lube them excessively to some , and I don't recall ever "cleaning " a chain except for washing dried mud off .
I've never had a chain issue , and they last for years ...
Glenn

That's Quite possible , but I don't know for sure ...
-
Practice and patience , you'll get to know your bikes habits ... Every one is different .
And most of the above ....

Well I just bid on a good looking brake plate on the Bay ... If I win I win , if I can make it fit it fit's ... Or it goes right back on the Bay...
