They are supposed to float , but on my 97 section I Think I need to replace the mount bushings , as mine rattles quite annoyingly when stone cold ... Or do I just live with it as the brakes are fantastic ...? Glenn

When I do wear gloves ,(rarely) I wear my Snap on mechanics gloves . Some knuckle protection and tuff palm . But I cut the velcro straps off , I hate things tight around my wrists . Glenn

Well the stickers/decals arrived for the honda today , they are bigger than I thought so I had to separate them into two pieces ... www.FastGuyStuff.com , No affiliation at all , just a real Quality product , all kinds of retro style stickers .

I've got to agree with Doug , except that I love the High end Domino levers with Teflon strips under them ... One finger Too !!! , But we are both mechanics , so may have stronger fingers than average ! Glenn

I had the tanks paid for last xmas , just waited till after the holiday rush to ship them ... Reflex is getting RWB honda wings w/the hrc logo , aka older cr style .... Clean and simple . The 240 is getting a Fantic logo from a different model , I hope my idea looks as good as my twisted mind thinks it will , when I do the main frame in black ..(and thanks to 'bama and his ilk , this was the smallest return in quite a few years , aka @ 17 my kid isn't a claimable dependent anymore ???) Guess I should trim and fit the extra new white front fender for the reflex so it all is bright white , I like the line of the "evo" rear fender better than the stock replacement . Glenn

I'm well aware of the date of the picture and the dated rumors of a big bore suzuki powered 4t from Fantic too ... I'm really just curious as to why Adrian or Mandy has that photo up . Their front page is usually new product , news , and current events .... But if they ever start up again with a trials bike , I will have one !!!! I just love FANTICS !!!!

I know it's been dreamed about for a while now , But does anyone know why Lewisports would have a photo of the prototype on their front page with the title "Hmmmmm" ? Does Adrian know something we don't ? or is he just teasing us ? Just scroll down the homepage a little and it's dated 23/1/14 . I'm confused ...

Had me fooled for a minute , 'cause when i burnt out the pipe on my 240 a few years ago , once it got to temp it started a draft thru the pipe and shot a flame for about 5 minutes ... But it had also spent a few days in a solvent tank with the nozzle running through it . Now that I've cleaned and repacked the mess in my sections silencer , you got me thinking I need to clean the midbox and decarbon the headpipe too .

Watch them there rafters !! young man ... And you know to make sure it's rubber mounted/isolated I'm sure .. Glenn

At 48k , I'm still in love with my Nissan NV 1500 ... Camper/ Transporter/ And still economical enough to be my daily driver too ... And I have yet to pimp it out like Biff's van , But it's outfitted to fit my basic needs at this point . Glenn

Wait till you see the photo's of my latest 'fix' My 97 section , no body plastic , with a handmade aluminum tank/seat unit ... My own take on the "C@STA" ...

I just made a "Street Fighter !" out of my son's Hyosung gt250r . I removed all the body work and OE headlamp assembly along with about 35lbs of sub frame/support structure , and installed a Acerobis (sp?) off road headlamp assembly and stuffed the factory instrument cluster inside it .. I haven't looked at their website but they make some smaller units that would work for you . The piece I used may be to large for the 300 ...But was a better quality item them I expected . Other than that I think Lewisports sells a headlamp assembly , look in their online catalog in the "plate" section if my memory serves ... Good Hunting ! Glenn PS ... Maybe look around for a Reflex headlight ??? They pop up on the bay all the time and would suit your needs just fine with a 6volt bulb swap ! Google acerobis headlights and it'll come up , I used the large twinlamp unit on the kids bike , but they make a bunch more .

My Vote would be it's all about marketing ....Honda has to sell more bikes to justify the money it takes to be the world champ ... And they get to write it off in the advertising budget , And the move to sell them again thru honda dealers in the states ... It's all about brand recognition ! ( I think !) Glenn And we all know , "you meet the nicest people on a Honda " And Bou , Fuji , and the rest of the crew I met in Tennessee kinda personifies that ad campaign ...
