I always fix dragging clutches ! And that shouldn't affect clutch out riding .... ?
-
I've only been riding about 45 years , And I've never heard of that idle speed adjustment method ....!
Is it just me , or did Goofy come log in to your account ?

My vote still goes to Airoh ...Best , most comfy trials helmet I've ever had ...
Doesn't that trials shop in Boise have some you can try ???
-
Had to look that one up .... Clever !
-
Just a glutton for punishment ???? I still like my 240 (soon to be 340 ) better than the section I had ....But the section would dislocate your shoulders ... Serious oommpphh . , but still got great traction with some throttle control.
-
HAHAHAHA Just great ! , made my day better !
-
Zip ; I'm talking Spec Miata race car that's got plates on it... My van gets better mpg , but isn't as fun to drive
-
Find a cheap Mini truck , make it reliable , and go ride !!!
I've got a 2012 Nissan NV 1500 Cargo van , That I bought expressly for hauling bikes and camping , but I don't get enough time to go compete , so I use my van for a Daily driver ....But I might put a trailer hitch on my hot rod Miata , just for fun ! But I do LOVE my van !

Not a Bad looking bike for a weeks work ...
Did the clutch come unstuck ?

The new S3 grips clamp on and don't move , had them on the section I sold and loved them . Just a tad bigger OD. than renthals etc. Bigger dia. may help with blisters too. but you've got to learn to relax your hands , hanging on for dear life is not how to ride trials , a lite sensitive grip works much better...

The leads to the computer on mine were missing too , But the unit worked and by its functions I can only guess it went to a speedo drive ....

You didn't go buy it ? Just Because !!!!

Only issue I've heard of with 97 frames is motor mounts cracking , from vibration . But if you check all the mount bolts regularly for correct torque , it wasn't a issue ...!

I sold my pristine '97 section to Bob @ B&J , as I prefer my trusty 240 much better for the riding I get to do . And I had to free up some shop space ... Loved the bike though , and almost wish it was still in my Fantic stash ...

I wish I knew what happened to mine , But that's been about 40 years on now .... All us hipster trials riders had one back in the 70's , Needed it to do your M.A. impression correctly .... !!

The one your comfortable on and you've got a handy source for parts ... Get a bike that fits how you ride ,and that you can take care of ...
Other folks opinions don't matter much , get the bike you like , They ALL break , just some less than others and how they are maintained !

Nice Bike , and P.P. signed it ! In a couple of the shots ???? Confusing .
-
What do you mean ? "forward notching " If it's what I think , the issue will be with the housing , not the tube ...I've got a ali tube on my trusty fantic and have zero throttle issues ...
-
Thanks for that , Adam & Toni are still buddies !

Hmmmnn , The flexable pipe/hose between the two units has deteriorated inside giving you a check valve/blockage . You changed its position and it worked , returned it to normal and it closed again . And you can reverse bleed it , but not not from the master out !
See it more often than you think on car brake hoses ...
Good luck , it is a old hose now ...
-
Was gonna make a smart a$$ comment , but thought better ..........
-
but the Merlin is classy .... !

Trials events /camping/ kids/ dog ...All the reasons I bought my Nissan NV1500 van ...(and 19mpg around town , low 20's on the open road ...)!And reliving my high school days ...66 Dodge , V8 and carpet and paneled (a Fathers nightmare !!)
-
you can just feel the love ....
-
Wow , I need to travel more ... Bucket list ...Been riding trials since the mid 70's and the ssdt has always been the DREAM .
