  7. Bull is the Answer to that
  8. like i said will need buckets off money throwing at it by time you have restored it you could have bought a mint 1 i know part off the fun is restoring them. but there is a limit. if the bike was like a grand then it would be worth spending another £1500 £2000 on it may be Even that's to much i myself have just spent over £500 on my 199A Engine that's before iv'e started on the rest off the bike. all good fun not for my Wallet tho.
  9. is that the 1 for nearly 3k? if so not cheap plus by the description sounds like you will have to spend at least another £500 just to get the Engine sorted. that takes the bike up to £3.500 that's Even before you start on the rest off the bike. All that said if you have deep pockets and you want it then Why not. just my option dose have the rare slab tank on it worth a fare bit.

  12. i took my big lump off a bultaco all the way to Cornwall and back on a rack on my peugeot 406 with out any trouble police did see it a few times never bothered me. just make sure the bike is strap on proper. and you will be ok the front wheel sticks out more so just keep an eye on it when driver near parked cars and narrow lanes 1 eye on the road and 1 eye on the bike ah
  13. i use to alway use the blue stuff but i just put a clean dry gasket on now with no leaks.got to think about when you need to take it off for any reason may be a messy job i can't comment on Yam bond as iv'e never used it if it was me id just try the thicker gasket with out any sealant. if the surface off the case id flat with no gaps you should not have any leaks.
  14. Welcome the 199A in my option is the best bultaco to have
