hi i bought a alloy tank from inmotion i got it for 1 off my 199Bs only for show it came unpainted not cheap but will look nice when theres paint .and decals on it. as smelling says your beter off with the plastice tank. i have a 198B they are 5 speed gear boxes.

hi mate yes you can buy pj 1 again i bought 5 tins of the fast matt satin black the other week not cheap tho hat £15 a pop i think there just being greedy because they know its good stuff and its not been on sale for a while. ive tryed a few difrant onces inmotion sell 1 wich i found good if you do it proper. i did my bultaco barrol with it turned out nice i warmed the barrol with a blow torch gave it 7 light coats warming inbetween each coat. then after the last coat i wacked it in the oven on 170F for an hour and half then let it cool down job done.

hello guys am sevicing my forks i think i took them off in the correct order but cant be 100% sure can any 1 tell me wich way the spacers amd sleave go? i do have the parts book but its not very clear cheers bondy.

hello all dose anybody know where i can get a spring for the clutch Arm? inmotion dont sell them anymore. i know alot off you dont put them on but i want to so any ideas where i could buy the spring would be great.

hello bultacorock my 198B has had the hub relined. you know you want it you could put the wheel on your 199A its like new

hello watch this glad you got your bike mate. am just sorting 1 off my 199Bs out.

still could be the carb its just trials and Error bully. some times can be confusing but you need to go thro the simple things first before taking covers off. i would first go.and check the carb first like i said. might have the wrong jets in or the needle slide could be worn the list gose on.

yes thats a good point to check the wheel bearings and swing Arm can all cost you money. and you can also knock him down last thing you want is paying the asking price then finding out you have to spend loads on it.

also to the bing you can buy new sldes.and needle and floats. but may be cheaper just to buy a new bing or a mikuni i run both on my 199B both work well. like i said it may not be the carb. thats just the first starting point. my 199B wasnt runing as good as it should turned out the piston was tired so ive just put new 1 in with rebore. could even be the timming/points just got to go throw all the bike.

bully if you have the magneto puller it should come off easy. make sure you take the flat.and spring washer out first. i would not hit the magneto with a hammer if you have the correct tools will come off very easy. you will need the magneto holdin tool also you can buy both from inmotion for around £40 i have both femsa .and motoplat magneto pullers i had to have a socket skimed to go into 1 off my magnetos on 1 off my 199Bs

hi mate be carfull its easy to get riped off i first ask are check both frame. and engine numbers match this could reflect the price. i whent looking at 1 and the frame and engine numbers didnt match. looked a nice bike but dont let that fool you. this 1 i went looking at wouldnt even start. there just like any other bike just check wheels run true check forks for leaks pitting chain sprockets any oil leaks make sure all 5 gears select ok aks to have a ride or at least hear it runing for a while.and listen for any rumbels or knocks end of the day there only you can deside weather its worth buyin or is it worth the money. just dont rush into buying 1

yes they do bullylover i had some done before i cant put mine back together just yet the sliders and yokes are going away to be powder coated next week well the yokes are the sliders are being cleaned then polished for a change. i have new springs waiting. i have cleaned both dampers. i was going to buy new fork caps but theres nothing wrong with the old ones.

hello guys just got my tubes back from being chromed.

hi mate i had the same problem with 1 of my wheels only thing was it was me what chop the spokes silly me. so i cant remember what the off set was inmotion will know thats how i got it. i had 2 more rebuilt not long ago i didnt chop the spokes out this time. £85 is not bad i paid £100 i also had a new rim and had the hub relined. on 2 off my rear wheels.

i have done it know mate but thanks. i ham glad i got it off with out any damage apart from the paint but am having them powerder coated any way so its ok. i got there in the end it is easy to damage the threads so i tape mine up then just heated the race up kept taping with a chisel i did mangle the dust cover tho in the process. like i said ive only ever done 2 before 1st 1 was hard 2nd was easy then this 1 hard again i think the heat dose help alot. i will do the same on renewing the race. 1st i will put the stem in the freezer then heat the new race then it should slide on easy my good friend patrick told me this. so cheers patrick
