Hi I thought you could only seal metal tanks with that stuff I will have a look to be honest the paint is original and looks tidy few light chips but nice looking tank its the decals that wont stay on as you say this stuff will stop the fuel getting throw so the decals should stay on am just leaving it for now as I don't want to ruin a nice tank

what is the capacitor? is it the metal box behind the cdi unit? its really tight in there not much room to play with ill have a closer look at your photos on the forum. I have put the Air box and everything back but I only did this to get an idea how things fit. this is brand new for the scorpa sy

hello All the CDI UNIT on my bike is right on the top off the carb iv'e noticed its stopping the carb going into the reed block all the way is this Normal? there is a slot on the reed block and a lug on top off the carb to push into but the CDI UNIT is stopping it going any more forward? any help would be good. cheers bondy.

Hello pschrauber its the rubber that goes over the choke I will see if I can find something that will go over the nut on the bottom off the choke.

Any 1 any ideas what I can use for the choke rubber as it's worn I have a brand New carb in box spare but don' want to pull it spat.

Sounds hard work am not going to sell the bike I've only just got it that's silly. Am just going to leave it as it is for now as the paint is good on it the decals can be taken off and just ride it bare seem funny as it' only the bottom decals that have bubbled not the top anyway the bike is looking very nice indeed so am going to carry on until it' finished cheers for your help guys

Hi All am looking to buy New foot pegs for my 2007 scorpa sy witch brand fits without welding New hangers on? i know some say there All the same but i don't think this is the case with pass experience.

hello PMK there is a washer but there is also a groove on the main jet with a o ring on it I got 1 from a local motor factors he gave it me for nothing so not bad I do have a brand New scorpa carb original still in the box.

Hello guys daft question but witch way dose the Air box rubber to carb go? there's a tab on the rubber that fits on the Air box don't know what that's for iv'e not really had a good look cheers

Hello frenchy yes Aspen is not cheap as you say i tend to just use it in the winter months and on the odd ride i do use shell V power or BP premium think texico do 1 but there ant 1 near me but the Aspen is easy to get there's a stockiest just down the road so that's not to bad. Regarding my fuel tank am Still thinking of what to do it is ok the paint is original and as a few very light scratches and chips but looks ok its the decals on the bottom end off the tank that have bubbles. so may just take them off and leave it bare unless there is away to solve it but i don't think there is a way many have tired and failed so ill keep it as is without the bottom decals its a shame but that's the way it is i don't understand why its not been sorted yet i use to have bultaco and had the same problems however the tank badges was foiled backed and they stayed on.

thanks guys i will make my mind up what to do it seems like its only the bottom decals that are bubble there's no fuel in the tank as i draind it before i put them on however the fuel cap was on so vapour may have don e it but this happened over a week or so i have since took the fuel cap off as its on the self why i service the bike and freshen it up. am going to use Aspen fuel witch is cleaner fuel but ant cheap for the amount off riding i do its not to bad you can mix it with normal fuel but i just use it as is with oil offs. plus you can leave it in the tank for up to 5 years without it going stale not that it would stay in that long but saves keep draining the tank.

do you guys know anything abought painting the tank and what paint to use? will it bubble if i just use normal rattle can? Still have problems with decals bubble

Hi dose the paint not bubble on the tank? reason i Ask is i was going to spray mine but its not that bad however i did put new decals on the tank now there bubbled

hello Sizzler i ended up buying 2007 scorpa.

bolts on order with a few other bits am debating to repack the silencer but the bike dose run well so may leave it for now but then again the bike its partly striped down so may just get it done i was going to cut it open and do the repacking then take it to be welded up.

PMK did you get the chance to see what size the bash plate bolts was? also do you have any idea how the middle Exhaust comes off with out looking am not in the work shop to look
