hi all im looking at buying some new shocks for my bultaco 199A not sure witch to buy so i need your addvice im not taking it in any kind of compiton ive just got the bike for fun but may be in time want to try .and do it proper i was thinking of buying the betor shocks are they any good? to be totaly honest i whent to look at anougther bultaco. and it had the betor shocks on. and they seemed to be quit soft tink ill need a stifter pair as im abit on the heavy side so what would be sutabel for me?

thanks for the addvice ive managed to get the new dust cover on ok so i might get the bottom race on hopfully without taking any paint off. ive noticed the stem is abit thinner in the middel .and steps out just abit at the top.and bottom think this is so its a tight fit it wasnt easy taking it of anyway ill give it ago thanks again bondy

hi guys just need abit of addvice ive just had my swing arm powder coated i took the old bushes out .and im replaceing with new ones of bultaco uk they have to kits to buy so i got the brass. and steel kit more money but seem more like the reel ones anyway i want to know is it worth me drilling the brass sleave to take the grease nipel? or would i be ok just puting loads of grease in before i put the swing arm back together? i did put the needel rolling bush kit on my other bult .and didnt bother with the grease nipels but the bike hasnt been used sinc restoring. allso i had the yoks powder coaded i told the guy i didnt want the shaft powder coated as i have to slide the bottom dust cover on. and the bottom race did he liten no he taped the threads up but just painted the middel bit of the shaft why i dont know i havand tryed puting the dust cover .and race on but i know there pritty tight going on so with a layer of powder coated paint its gonner be hard puting them on so any ideas how to get the paint of with out any damage thanks bondy

hi all ive just had my yoks powder coated dose anybody have any ideas on how to tighten it with out risk of damageing the paint? i no the nut as groovs in it for a c spanner but theres not enough space to get a c spanner in. so i got a normal nut of bultaco uk but im still dont want to damage the paint. allso how tight should this be? cheers bondy

hi guys whats the best stuff to use for cleaing my gas gas? and cleaing the chain. and best stuff for lubing the chain? allso ive heard that when the flywheel cover gets wet its got to be taken of and dryed out is this true? im new to these bikes i know my bultaco as a gasket. and i put a thin layer of gease on it so it keeps the water out

hello all ive just had my fork legs powder coated any addvice on the bolt that holds the damper at the botom of the leg whats the best way to stop it leaking? what sort of washer do i use? allso would stainless steel washers be ok for the pain ive just had done or would i be beter useing something else? and finaly witch way do i tighten the front wheel up?

hi all ive got the conversion kit on my other bult with are good but cant get hold of them anymore. so im trying to save money so if i can get away with using the brass ones that came out i will not had chance to look at them yet failing that bultaco uk do a copy made from ally cheers all for your addvice

hi all ive just had my swing arm powder coated i took to brass sleaves out one in each side they had a lip one one side i got the swing arm off ebay there in good condtion but i need to know is the brass sleaves all i need? there was a rubber seal on the inside. i have anougther bult witch i restord.and i put a affer market rolling needel bearing kit in them witch work good but cant seem to get them anymore so if i can use these brass ones i can save some mony thanks bondy

hi john so if i get a puncher in the rear how do i fix it? is it same as a car got to get it pluged?

hi guys ive just got a gas gas 250 pro 210 would the tyres be tubles? and the littel screw on the fork nuts or they for leting the air out? and how often do i release the air? thanks bondy

hi john nice to know its been looked after i can tell. only reason im asking is because ive only had twin shock. im keeping the bike in the house ive only took her up and down the close lovley bike you have done a great job of looking after her as i will. this is why i need to know what oils you put in so i can do the same. what 2 stoke oil was you using? and what mix? roy said 75mm/ 5L the bike wont have a hard live as ive only been doing trials for fun ive got to bultacos witch ive just restord cheers bondy

hi guys as some of you know i just got a gas gas 250 txt pro 210 dosnt need anything doing to it as its been well looked affter. im thinking the owner before me used putolin oils as the bike as all the stickers on not sure as i got it off a dealer i know the gear oil is red i can see through the littel window on the casing so have you guys any idea if putolin is red? ive been told 75W light is recamended. im not sure how mutch it mentions 500mm in the hand book but the book is for a 2008 modal the dealer said it was the same as the 210 so im just going off it. ive allso been told the petrol mix is 75mm to 5L of petrol? ive only had bultacos the last to years ive desided to try modan trials. must say they are great to ride alltho ive only took it up and down my street. anougther thing is how would i tell if theres a wieght on the flyweel? im only asking because ive read it on hear that some guys do it to carm the power down but would this be likley on my pro 250? what would the diffrance be? cheers bondy

hi ive just got meself a gas gas 250 txt pro 210 model big diffrence to the bultaco i have. anyway can anybody tell me the best 2 strok oil to use? i know its 75mm/5 litters do i use part synthetic or fully synthetic? ive got some of that strawbery 2 strok oil thats part synthetic i used it in my bultaco once but it left a sticky layer on my carb slide. also what engin oil is the best for these bikes. and is it all one oil the bultaco as gear oil .and clutch oil cheers bondy
