  1. My Sherco's stator went on my first outing after buying from Ebay (3 hours in) and I had to spend
  2. sold you a cracking bike, you even said this at the time and in your feedback, and you accuse me of selling you a bum deal!!! you rode the bike twice before you got back to me and for all i know you could have done anything to the bike, drown it etc... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some people also can't accept that these things DO and WILL happen to trials bike's, he was just very unlucky by the sounds of things.
  3. Hi Andy, I'm not sure about the white background on them either, will have to sellotape them on first to see if they suit my bike. Nothing wrong with the quality of the stickers themselves in my opinion. Cheers Andy
  4. Got mine, cheers Andy Along with my new Trialcast pegs (Cheers Steve!), will give them a thorough testing this weekend
  5. You need to go and try different kinds on before buying mate
  6. You need to find a proper bike trials forum. we're 99% engines mate!
  7. Me neither, my bike will be one big sticker soon
  8. You sure it's not the clutch that's making a slight noise?
  9. Clear the fuel out, put some premium petrol (Optimax/Super) in mixed to your preferred ratio with some good quality oil and see if it clears up, you need more than 2 mins to get hot, I find my bike isn't properly "trials hot" until I've done a good 10-15 mins of riding. My Beta did this and the Sherco's the same, nothing to worry about.
  10. Yeah I'll have a look at it, always make sure I use the back wheel myself, but who knows what the previous owner was doing
  11. Have you seen her specially made Lycra All-In-One with "ER" emblazoned across the chest and ass? She's blanked out the Repsol sign with duct tape too apparently
  12. OK I've measured it at 82mm Your picture looks like it's exactly the same size so the good news is it looks like they use the same one on the 1.25 > 2.9 models throughout. P.S. It may be worth giving this guy a call, see if he can do it any cheaper for you: Steve Hardaker 0034965974567 johardaker@tiscali.es I got this guy's details from the person I bought the bike off, who has had 6 shercos and had to have a stator rewound before, his email quote below: "I made enquiries and found the best and cheapest method is to go through a guy in Spain, who is English but emigrated a few years ago to enjoy the sun but also to work with Leonelli ignition in Barcelona to help with development work. I phoned him and he arranged to send me a modified stator straight away and I sent off my unit at the same time. Cost was about
  13. It's normally under the tank up above the fan/radiator
  14. Mine's running pretty sweet now thanks, only problem is, when it's hot I'm constantly fiddling with the carb screw to get the tickover right, it seems to change from section to section I'm taking it off tomorrow and cleaning it out ready for next weekend. Hope you get the splutter sorted out soon mate. Maybe worth getting it into a bike shop for a bit of tinkering, I know it pains to pay but you should only be charged if they can sort it.

Can I interview you for the website? I don't think we've had a gay Trials rider before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He may be female! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Trapped in a boy's body
  16. Does look like it's done very little work, the frame boot protector and swingarm look very clean - usual areas that wear first
  17. Ah you've found a good one you're happy with then mate?
  18. Looks like a tidy bike, I'd try and get to see it, or at least get him to send some current pictures of it.
  19. I'm a wobbler too mate, don't worry about it, I'm in the utter crap category at the moment, I aspire to be simply crap.
  20. any more comments like that and I'll be coming round with my chainsaw......
  21. Ah went through Asheville in 2000, quality place, but very very strange
  22. I've got my old one somewhere, will have a look tonight for it you. see if I can find it.
  23. No I think the normal brackets that come with them will fit most modern bikes, the brackets they offer for sale are for the older generation of bikes. I don't know if they're better than Hebo, but I'd rather give them a try and support a smaller company than Hebo. I had hebo pegs on my beta and they were good, but these look to have larger holes in for the muck to fall through.
