  2. you're not alone with this one,some of the local riders have had this.One of them measured the diameter of the tyre where it touches the rim,and told me it was 4mm larger than the old tyre.He was refunded,you might like to measure your tyre and compare.Shame cos irc is the best for our conditions.
  3. Jordi,s right remove the flywheel weight,change the gear oil every 4 trials with dextron 3 atf,grease the linkage bearings every 6 rides or so,remove the airbox and split it,seal the joint wirh stikaflex[from a motor factors]ensure the gear lever is tight,enjoy riding a great bike

    Fork damage

    Clean the scrape with thinners[or the other half's nail polish remover]fill the scrape with superglue,leave it for a day and rub it down smooth.Have done this a few times it's always worked
  6. A flywheel weight will help,as will setting the idle mixture a shade rich.300s do seem to stall easy if you let the revs drop really low,my sons 300 stalls easier tham my 280,you have to really concentrate on your clutch/back brake control

The Beta is definetly the better of the bikes you mention,do you particularly want a 4t?Don't know your budget,but any recent 250 2t is adequate for anyone up to[at least] centre champ level.I'd go to a local trial,get to know a few people and try their bikes.If you've been out of it for a few years you;ll be surprised how good modern bikes are

    ATF?

    Used dextron 3 from a motor factor in 5 diferent GasGas Pro,never had a problem. It's much cheaper this way well up to the job.We change it every 5 meetings

    fork seals

    Hi,anyone know how to change a fork seal on a 2010 pro please? I've done them on shercos and betas,is the job any different,Heard a rumour they're harder or is this just the same job.Thanks in advance
  11. An 08 beta,gas gas or sherco 250 would be fine.Buy the best condition bike you can find,they all have their good and bad points.If you don't know what you're looking at,take someone with you who does.I don,t know where you live but bvm in gloucester are straight to deal with'
  12. 09 shouldn't be that wild,maybe the exhaust needs repacking?and the mid box washing out
  13. You haven't said what bikes you have,but in a GAS GAS PRO ATF was recommended in the handbook so thats what i've used 5 diferent bikes.Had no problems,and its much cheaper.I change it after about 6 trials
