Some take to them and love them, others go backwards.Suspension and build quality are superb, you'd have to try one to know. Some can't get them to grip, rather a Marmite bike
-
Tank on my 2013 never sat all the way down either, there's not much space to cram it all in.Relocating on the rear of the number plate would fix this, but would it be too vulnerable when you jet washed the bike perhaps?
-
-
Does anyone know what,if any benefit a little rear suspension sag gives please? My TRRs has none with the standard spring compressed 8mm
-
Get it going, have a ride, you'll have a better picture of what it needs, hopefully not much
-
Pretty sure you could fit the 2019 parts,I don't think the clutch itself has changed. As stated above GGUK or Kev Hipwell would know
-
Should say on the master cylinder,if not call Splatshop, they'll know
-
Clutch pack too thick on yours, you can make it as light as the 2019.Wants to be 9.75 mm minimum 9.85 max
-
White looks better, this looks too many colours
-
-
I think it's better.Previous ruling made observing inconsistent with reports of abuse to observers, and the riders like to do the trick riding. As long as the sections aren't too long for the time limit, which sometimes happened before,it's the right decision
-
Back bleeding with a syringe on the bleed nipple generally works .Is there free play at the pedal to ensure the master cylinder piston is returning fully?
-
Make no sense financially, depends if you would enjoy and want to take it on and accept you'd lose money on it
-
I'd check the valve clearances if it starts ok cold, but not when hot
-
Harder than it looks isn't it?Stay with it ,your body will get used to it
-
4 hours is quick. Also depends on everything coming undone easily and no worn parts needed, which you might have to wait to get.Its not a difficult job, worth taking time and checking everything before it goes onto the new frame
-
It should go a lot quieter with the clutch pulled in,does it?
-
You'll have to ride them both to know which suits you best, assuming they are similar condition. If one is much better condition buy that one, they're both good bikes
-
You can use a rawlbolt as an expanding mandrel. Its best to warm the hub up first
-
Do the later ones have a different brake pedal with more leverage?
-
Think that WTC has become too hard and dangerous for all but a few that have the ability/backing/bravery.You either get up a big step or come crashing back down, too many of the sections are like this.WTC needs a rethink,it's not going the right way
-
If it's still got the Formula junk on it I'd look elsewhere
-
Great carb, more susceptible to dirt or incorrect tuning than a dellorto but better when right, much more precise and smooth.Need to keep the air filter clean too
-
What makes you think it needs a rebuild? Is it noisy with more than usual vibration?Does it start and run ok apart from the smoke?
-
How much have you been quoted?
