I was after a vito for ages and test drove a few, I agree, I would try and go for the 110 or 112 as the engine does feel more "refined" than the 108 model. I found the Vito's a bit dear and opted for the Traffic / Vivaro. Really glad I did as it drives better than my old car, and with the 6 speed gearbox it cruises down the motorway at 70 hardly ticking over! Bit more room in them as well.

The window is on the side of the clutch cover on the pro's and on the txt's it is just behind the rear brake pedal, but its alot smaller of a window than on the pro's, too be honest it's pretty crap on the txt model.

Thanks Guys, Sounds like the rear shock is the best way to tell if it is an 03, Just gotta ask the missus if I can have another bike....! Which will be like talking to a ... . But I can always try...!

Hello there, I'm interested in a Beta, and maybe going to see one at the weekend that's for sale, Its a 2003 but he has brought 2005 plastics and graphics for it, so I was wondering if there is any easy way of checking that it is a 2003 as stated and not say a 01 or 02? He wants

I think your getting mixed up with a power valve, these are found on 2 stroke mx'ers. When the engine gets to a certain rpm a valve on the outlet port opens to allow the exhaust gases to leave the engine easier and so in turn allows the engine to build more rev's very quickly and so makes the bike go quicker, It feels a bit like a turbo on a car. Where as, every bike has a power band as this is just where the power is in relation to engine rev's. ie some bikes have a lot of low end power for example a trials bike, where as a 125 mx'er has the power range all at the top of the rev range. Hope that explains it a bit better.

Thanks for that guys... Never did get to go and have a look at the 300, About to move house in a month and the missus has put her foot down and said I've got one bike already and she hasnt even got an oven for the new house..... So gotta buy one of them first. So my new question is do I buy a Gas oven or Electric.......!!!! Only joking So My mates kindly letting me carry on borrowing his 2000 txt 280 which is a bit scruffy to look at but is mechanically sound so I cant complain really.....Maybe better waiting till the 06's are out, the second hand market should have some better offers then03-04's

75ml of oil in 5 litres would give you 66:1 ratio, ie 5 litres= 5000 ml 75 ml of oil 5000 divided by 75 = 66 so ratio is 66:1 That's how I understand it. I run my enduro bike on 40:1 Ie 125ml of oil per 5 ltrs and been running my borrowed trials bike on 50:1 100ml of oil to 5ltrs

I'm new to trials, but have lots of experience in Enduro's and have a gas gas ec 300, after spending a bit of time on my mates yr 2000 txt 280 edition I fancy getting a bike of my own to play on and to do a few trials on when I'm not doing the enduro's. I have seen a 04 300 pro for sale in the tmx local to me. What I want to know, will it be too much of a bike for me and pull my arms off or are they more like a tractor with smoooth power low down? would you guys recommend me buying one or waiting for a 250? Any help would be much appreicated. Oh here's me on the Enduro bike Many thanks Rob

AS arturner51, I am new to the trials and this is my first post, and all your info has been really helpfull, I have been doing enduro's for the last few yrs and recently borrowed my mates gas gas 280 txt. I havent had so much fun in ages!! I now fancy getting a trials bike to play on and do a few trials on when theres no H&H's (Enduro's) on. I really fancy a Beta Rev 3. Is there anything in particular to check for on the bikes or questions I should be asking the owners when I go to look at a second hand bike (ie common faults). I could prob stretch to spending about
