  1. Try PB Engineering 0117 941 2300
  2. I used these guys the other day for my 200 Fantic. Posted them Monday & got them back Wednesday. Brilliant service. 2mm larger than standard size. Used them in the Sammy Miller round last weekend and perfect. £25.00 per pair for the Fantic. Speak to Scott Hepworth (Ex rider) http://www.custombrakes.co.uk/brake-pads-sheffield.html
  3. The entry form did ask for 2 SAE's which when returned did have the new start info. TMX also was updated but not for some reason the ACU site and the trial was hardly mentioned in detail on the Western centre web site! Very odd. The parking field was OK if you had a 4x4 and a winch !!! Still waiting for results. Very slow and for a national event is poor. Trial was a cracking event though....... Can't wait for next year!
  4. Yeap, the DVLA will send it back saying no insurance. You need to insure the bike against the frame number which is what the MOT will be against. MSM will not insure bikes without registration. You will have to use one of the big 3 bike insurers who will normally insure a frame number but only for 2 or 3 weeks. They will cancel the policy if you don't go back to them with the registration number within the set time limit. This link to the VMCC has some good info! http://www.vmcc.net/media/file/SOS%20form.pdf You should buy RTA insurance at each road trial as all normal motorcycle insurance policy's (Except MSM) will invalidate the policy if the bike is being used in competition! IE a Sammy Miller round which are all road based trials.......... Do many bother. Probably not! Link below to MSM Insurance if you want to double check if they will insure for a few weeks on Frame / VIN number as it was some time ago when i last checked and the answer was NO, but things do change. http://www.msminsurance.co.uk/trialsenduro.asp Hope that helps.......

    Funny looking trials bike !
  6. As the guys say, you don't need a speedo, stop lights etc.. Just a horn. I and many others use one of these which has a 9 volt battery. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ENDURO-BATTERY-POWERED-MOTORCYCLE-LOUD-MEGA-HORN-105db-ENDURO-MOTOCROSS-QUAD-MOT-/330919828890?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item4d0c5bdd9a

  8. At least 30 miles as that's minimum according to the Sammy Miller ACU regulations and makes it feel like a traditional trial!!.
  9. Take 2 fuel cans, One goes in the fuel trailer so you can top up at the furthest group , The other you need after riding the first 2 or 3 groups as you come back past the start.

  12. Road registering a 125 is the same as any other non registered bike. I would avoid a "Q" plate as insurance is a pig to get and will cost a lot more than than a age related plate..... You will also need to prove to the DVLA that import duty / tax has already been paid.
